  Hi   I have just bought a 2001 (51 reg) ford fiesta. It came with 2 keys, both have the red insert in the top of the key, but it doesn’t have a remote key.

  Hi, Can anybody please help. I have a 2002 ford focus 1800 TDCI. My fob wont work. I replaced the battery & got the fob tested, all ok & the key starts the car. I have tried reprogramming my fob to work the central locking. I get the first noise when i try to programme it, but i dont get the second noise & the light above the clock wont go into learning mode.

I've owned the car for just over twelve months and on a couple of occasions I've been acerbating and the power has dropped off, the revs drop until the engine stalls.  It happened a few times and turning it off and on again sorted the problem.

  Hi, is there anybody out there who knows how to correctly remove the radio from a 2006 56 reg Ford Focus Hatch? I have had fair experience of fitting radios, cd changers, hands free kits etc over the years and i would like to install a bluetooth kit to my car. I have accumulated various radio removal keys including Ford ones but none fit these new style radios.

  Hi I am having to have the dashboard replaced as the current one seems to have totally failed, when I turn the key a couple of lights come on and  go out and nothing else works. Ford have told me that there is no way of reprogramming the new dash to show the actual mileage I have no idea what the mileage is as it's a digital display that's no longer working  so I cant even record it for future use.

  Hello, I have just changed the oil SAE 5 W 30, oil filter EFL 600, new sump plug and air filter on my Ford Focus 1.6 auto 2003. I used to get my spares from Halfords but this year used the Ford dealer as the prices were similar. I would like to replace the spark plugs soon as I have done about 35,000 miles now.

  Main Ford dealer tells me that all 4 injectors on 2003 2.0 Tcdi need to be replaced. Car has covered only 99K miles - surely all 4 injectors shouldn't need replacing ? Ford main dealer has already replaced one injector at cost of £400 + after diagnostic check - now one week later - with original poor running and smoking not fixed - is claiming remaining 3 need to be replaced at additional cost of £850.

  I need to hire a car for two adults, a 10 and 7 year old (plus 10 days worth of luggage from/to the airport) in Italy this summer. The Fiat Grande Punto is a bit cheaper than a Ford Focus to hire! Are they approximately the same size? Both are showing in the same class as five door c/w aircon. I was wondering if the Ford is a bit more expensive because "us Brits" are more likely to hire this instead of the Fiat?

  Allen Ford of Northampton have been brilliant and are equally frustrated by Fords bizarre warranty procedure regarding rusty doors. What irritates me is that I have to persist with the body and paint inspections and that I have to keep going back to Ford at my inconvenience to get their manufacturing defects rectified.

  I'm considering importing my next car (as you might have guessed from my contribution to the "New Mini Help" thread). I'm looking for a Ford, but the final spec isn't yet decided. In the FAQs, HJ suggests ringing european dealers (more or less at random) to find out whether they are ready and willing to quote for UK imports. But to make my life easier, is there anyone out there who can name willing Ford dealers (not import agencies) in France, Belgium, Holland or Denmark.

  , and now third time they say that it is an overheated / worn clutch that is down to driver error. After 40 years of driving Fords, without any such a problem, and not being a driver that pushes the performance anywhere near its upper abilities, I think this is unlikely.   Hello My van went into EAC fail last September & in january I put into ford for them to diagnose The problem which they come back with 1, abs pump / module failure, along with 2, fuel Temp sensor...3, Near side front wheel sensor... 4, glow plug fault codes 5, low battery output , after obtaining the part number & engineering number for ford I sourced the correct pump with a 3 month warranty for a diesel specialist which all Their unit gets tested before sent out, so got the pump fitted by my mechanic and Sent the van back into ford to get the pump re programed & wouldnt re program And clear the EAC fail ..

  I have, on several occasions have realised my Ford Focus 2012 has not locked properly. This car has the automatic door protectors which are connected to the door mechanism. The problem I find is that you have to be careful that you give the door extra force when closing.
