We’re still just with worse to drive and less efficient SUV wannabe’s like the Qashqai and swmbo’s HRV instead, while I’d really rather have a good Camry, examples of which you see regularly here dating back to the 80’s and 90’s and still running. I did spot a few Honda HRV’s and CRV’s and several showed paintwork damage from the heat, one HRV had the paint on the roof burnt off. Possibly it’s been a non-insurance approved bodge repair job but it wasn’t the only Honda I spotted with paint issues. -

Evidently I was doing 36mph, I know I wasnt as I live virtually opposite the camera and I never, ever drive more than 30mph thesedays as Ive been caught 4 times in the last 4 years ...not good, I know but Im from the 1970's era where 30-35mph wasnt considered fast BUT, no excuse and I'd be happy to take my punishment if I wernt disputing the vailidity of this camera. Others in the village have also been clocked at 36mph by this camera. -

Was parked up in a spare parking bay in a local petrol station today whilst the wife popped in to get something from their shop (it's an M&S store and she likes their tinned tuna) ... and watching the queues for the pumps slowly move forward has made me think. (Incidentally, the queues moves much more slowly in this particular outlet due to everyone doing their M&S shopping whilst their car sits at a pump preventing anyone else from filling up) Anyway ... the experience of watching everyone fill up with petrol and diesel made me wonder if I really ought to consider electric next time I change cars. -

A.A take care of everything, smashed front has done in power steering, grill, bonnet etc. they get me home then bodyshop collects car and given huge Merc S class as a courtesy car.
