Hi how reliable is this car? 2017 model. I currently have a BMW 1 series diesel its cheap to run and had no issues with it. However, I need a 3 isofix rear or a 3 adult seat car.
Would a Citroen be reliable enough or is there a better make such as Seat, Audi or BmW that has either 3 isofix or 3 full adult seat rear seats Read more
I'd be thinking about a small(er) seven seater like a Mazda 5 or Ford S-Max.
An S-Max isn't a small seven seater, surely you are thinking of a Grand C-Max?....

I must be getting old, I just found it very obvious and rather tiresome. Repeatedly over four hours on Wed..no Kia' or Ford's. Only German....must be a ownership requirement.
Excellent car except that the intelligent speed limit assist is as much use as a chocolate tea pot. When you set it to read the speed limit signs, it does, for a few minutes only. Then if it does not see a speed limit repeater it turns off. It also turns off if you operate a direction indicator.
There are no 30mph repeater in the UK nor national speed limit signs. Hence not much use.... Read more
Yet another gadget on a car that at the end of the day can only increase its purchase price. You need good eyesight to drive a car and see all the road furniture including the speed signs.. Always wondered why there is such a long queue behind some cars. They must have these speed limiter gadgets on on maybe just being ultra cautious and law abiding ...

Hi John,
Your comments are very interesting, I have just purchased a brand new MG ZS and the cruise control functionality is inconsistent, when using the lever to accelerate or de accelerate via the one mph increments. Sometimes it misses and you have to activate the lever again, sometimes it doesn’t work at all and sometimes it just jams the whole system up, meaning you have to turn if off and back on again to regain its activity....
Not sure where this should go, either here or in car buying. Are there people out there that will sell a car for you with say a commission. Long story but my wife does not need the stress at the moment so wondered if someone does that sort of thing. We are in Cheshire. The car is a 2012 BMW X1 20d 2.0 xdrive ,78k miles.

I could really do with some advice. I purchased a 2008 xc90 d5 auto 110000 on the clock about 5 months ago. All been fine. Last month on a journey it started randomly stalling, before dying on me. Would then crank but not fire no matter what. Rac towed to my usual garage. When they got around to looking at it 2 days later, it started and drove without issue. We changed fuel filter and did leak off test at my request. All OK.
Fast forward a month.... ... Read more
If you’re not able to check the fuel rail pressure under cranking, you’re not going to get much further with any diagnostic.
This sideshow is getting tedious now, can we get back to answering the OP's questions.
Thanks...
