Evening all, my wife's Karoq had just had the sunroof seals replaced following some crows decided to peck at the seals.
Is there anything we can do to prevent this occurring in the future? I was thinking of covering the glass area in some form of non-reflective vinyl similar to the privacy glass Read more

Why Australia decided to quit its vaping habit - BBC News
Is this the most disgusting product ever introduced to the human race other than fags. It is ruining lives including young children all in the name of making money. Gov should never have allowed it let alone making it available on the NHS to some. Just the smell as you walk past people Vaping makes me want to throw up. Read more
Apparently the other thing is a lot of these Vaping companies are getting taken over by people who used to run Tobacco companies, so its like they found a way to transition to one harmful thing to another. I used to smoke for years and it took me ages to see the light, there will be a whole new generation in the same position in another 10 years.
Hi there,
I'm just looking for some advice.
I purchased a Toyota over 3 years a go second hand from a reputable dealer. I'm now looking to sell it and ran a HPI check on it and it's come with a warning regarding a milage issue.
The issue is below, where 2,189 miles have been "lost" during this 6 day period in 2016 on the extended miles record report.
06/05/16 - 17,189
12/05/16 - 15,000
This milage discrepancy doesn't show on the MOT history.
Any advice on what to do? I can't be bothered to take it back to the dealer because of 2,189 missing miles, I'm not sure it's worth the time and admin. They should have property checked it but I have better things to be spending my energy on. The car isn't worth great deal either in the condition it's in, it's seen better days over the past 3 years so I'd be lucky to get anywhere near £3k
I'm wondering if its possible that an incorrect number has been entered on a report at some stage. 15,000 seems very exact!
I guess what advice I would like is how I go about advertising it for sale with this known issue. I obviously know about it so I guess I need to be upfront. It's frustrating as I'm worried this will put off potential buyers.
I'm assuming there's no UK law selling a clocked car as long as I'm honest about it so I can be transparent as I like?
Has anybody else had to sell a clocked car? How did you go about it?
thanks

Should’ve added to my wee clocking rant that a small discrepancy like this is much more likely to be a simple mistake. If it was 3/4yrs old when it happened and it had been 10k or so I’d say it had been wound back (digital mileage “correction”) to avoid fees when returning it on a PCP or contract lease. This is very common, but with just 2,000 miles the fees wouldn’t be more than the cost and hassle of clocking it.
It even folds its mirror in!

Well we all love a Cadbury Flake don't we? Well it appears the Ice cream men don't any more. The flakes are too crumbly and falling apart when trying to make your 99. Remember the seductive advert "A sixpence worth of heaven"" well it appears to be all in your lap now!. Since Cadbury was sold all sorts of changes have taken place and the Flake is now made in Egypt would you believe. So I do not know what happened to the "glass and a half" of whole cream milk because I don't think there are many cows in Egypt? Maybe the problem is they are using a substitute milk, camel perhaps? I cannot imagine that Cadbury are shipping gallons of good old British cows milk to Egypt. So just how do you make chocolate in a country with traditionally high temperatures, may be this is the problem and flakes are setting wrong. Whatever Cadbury have assured the Ice cream men that the problem has been sorted.
Now to the real point, how can the world sort out climate change when nothing is made reasonably locally and even food flown or shipped everywhere. Cadbury set up a new facility and ship product to the UK some 2.5 thousand miles and make a profit. Previously made in the UK by employees in the UK. The practice is happening with everything worldwide. So are the efforts to reduce carbon emissions really serious or even directed in the right places. Read more
Everything corporate America touches goes to hell. Best example is in our line of interest, when GM bought (and utterly ruined) Saab. I still remember being stunned by how bad the first GM 9-5 was that I sat in compared to its genuine high quality predecessor the 9000. The interior plastics were awful, the centre console could be shook from side to side by hand. The diesel engines were either rattly chain driven GM 2.2’s or later Fiat 1.9’s neither of which came close to meeting the refinement standards expected of a prestige brand. Jaguar under Ford wasn’t quite so bad, at least the cars drove well. But the quality simply wasn’t there. The X-Type and early S type were actually poorer inside than the Fords they were based on. The X-Type in particular was a less honest and generally poorer car than its Mondeo relative
In the past BL and all the various components including some makes still with us, went for the cheapest supplier.

Hello everyone,
I just got a new car with a complete clean MOT, not a single remark. I bought it on the day of the test. I just got the car now and detected that the left back lights have a electric issue that was detected on the day I bought it but was dismissed as a faulty lightbulb. It seems to be a problem with the electric connection of the all set since they only work sometimes. Then I also detected all this rust that can be seen on the pictures I'll leave below. Shouldn't it be remarked on the MOT? Will this be a problem in the future? Do I have ground to return the car under the costumer rights act 2015?... Read more
I can't see anything that would give me cause for concern given the age of the car. Take a wire brush to it and some rust eater followed by some underseal. I think you're over thinking this.

Hi when i switch on the ignitio the battery dash indicator flashes on and off. when istart the engine it goes off and stays off while the engine is running.
I am not sure if this is normal as when you get in to start the car you don't normally sit and look at the dash lights you start up and drive off. I weas having a problem with the battery so ifitted anew one and had the alternator checked.... Read more
Was this happening before you changed the battery? Flashing on some later Fiats denotes that the car is in "economy mode" - not meaning super economical but it's detected a power problem and has restricted "unnecessary functions".
Has something been disturbed re battery wiring? I've known Fiat high current lead crimps to fail going high resistance(especially after being disturbed) - check them all. In my experience all failures have been on Puntos - but check anyway....

Yes, but remembering that the car has to be genuinely Off-Road.
