Hello, my car stared acting weirdly. The car first starts normally sometimes takes time to start, after some time it will stall and the car won't start again because engine light doesn't come up, but after some time when i give it ignition on check engine light will come up and the car works. The time is random when it stalls, sometimes it will work for 5 secs, sometimes you can ride it for 10 minutes. So the car when has engine light it works, when it doesn't come up it doesn't work and have to wait for some time to "cool" down. I checked some fuses, the radiator fan and more things, if you need more details ask please i will reply, I would appreciate any help. Thank you. Read more
Sooner rather than later i will need to replace the brake pads and discs on the front of my Hyundai. I'm wanting to go with a British brake manufacturer and preferably one who manufacturers in the UK. EBC are a British manufacturer. How are the quality of there brake components, is this a manufacturer that can be recommended? Read more

I just fitted a a Nextbase using their hardwiring kit and the DC/DC converter in the power lead to the camera has a low volt cut off to avoid draining the car battery to the level that would result in the car not starting.
I had some welding done on my current car at the last MOT and am curious to know if that would affect the sale price. It's pretty old anyway so not expecting much but runs well and has had a lot of work done (clutch, suspension etc) so am keen to try and get some cash for it. Would you consider a car that has had welding work or is it as good as scrap at that point? Read more
Okay I was not aware of that. Thanks

Don't forget the Boris Bus, another White Elephant, that he is now keen to cover the county with. Rear entrance that allowed fair dodgers, hybrids that had duff batteries, duff air con that left travellers cooking as they had no opening windows, great for spreading covid, and no one outside of London wanted to buy them. He's got an excellent reputation for wasting cash though.

Obviously, who indeed could possibly live with a 9 second 0-60 time..............
I’ve owned this car for about a year and a half now and really enjoy it.
It’s currently due an MOT and needs 3 tyres replaced (I’m thinking as it needs 3 it might be better to replace all 4 at the same time?).... Read more
Great information. Thanks. I’ve been coming across the same sizes when I search through the reg on the tyre sites although you can manually type the sizes.
I don’t know if the rims now are the same as when rolled off the line, although they may be?
Searching online the rims currently on it are the 18” BMW Star Spoke 189.
The OEM is 6768859
I’ve tried mailing BMW customer service but still waiting to hear back!
Just a bit worried if I follow the recommended 35 on front & 40 on back instead of like for like of what’s currently on there 40 back/ 45 front that I’ll feel the bumps and holes much more and the visual look against the arch mayy look too small. I like the look of the wheel filling the arch!
I suppose so as long as going against all the tyre site recommendations online wouldn’t cause an undue problem to the tyres it would be ok? After all they may be advising on different factory rims.
My mates A4 isn’t all wheel but it is an S-line so maybe that’s the reason they’re the same front and back.
A quick google suggests that Hyundai and Toyota are family controlled.
is battery earth good and terminals clean and tight
