The Civic saloon is almost the size of the old Accord BUT instead of a 2.0 or 2.4 ltr engine it's a 3 cylinder turbo 1 ltr petrol or a NA diesel.
No option of the 180 BHP 1.5 4 cyl petrol from the Civic Hatch & CRV...
This is the standard format, as we all know:

I caught part of a phone in on this - older drivers being the subject of phone ins every six months or so. It occurs to me that an eye test (for both acuity and field of vision) by a qualified optician together with a fitness to drive statement from a GP should be compulsory every ten years as a minimum. What do others think? Read more
Just received my 7 page health questionnaire, including eyesight, so that I can drive again for another 3 years. I'm alway nervous.
My garage removed the front light unit to stick. The roof lining back and since then both interior lights don't work.
I've changed the fuse which had blown whch retired power to the boot light s but as soon as the interior light is switched on it blows again.
It doesn't look as if he has replaced the main plug back to front.
Any ideas please ? Read more
Thank you so much Glaikit,
My mechanic tried spraying the adhesive through an aperture formed by removing the light unit.
It was as you say never going to work so I took some scissors and cut the lining full length so I could spray the adhesive and then let it dry before bonding the two .
Brilliant advice and I'd like to thank you both for your excellent advice.
I can't recall where I saw the article now but it reported sales of non premium SUVs are down nearly 20%. SUV sales and those of hatchbacks are now about even at around 40% each. The Keep Up With The Jones' were moving to SUVs to be one ahead of the neighbours with hatchbacks. When the hatchback next door was "upgraded" to a SUV, the next move was to a premium SUV. My guess is that the MG is selling well because it's the next big thing, an EV SUV and a cheap one at that. Read more
Not sure what the release actually means. With 100+ UK dealers 'selling' 1,000 shouldn't be difficult for MG.
Is it coincidence that Subaru have also 'sold' 1,000 of their new hybrid vehicles and issued a similar release?
I'd be extremely disappointed to only be getting 45 mpg from any hybrid. My Ioniq got 70 mpg and it was a hell of a lot bigger than an Auris. Read more
I read people quoting achieved mpg figures with scepticism, Unless they quote HOW they calculate them, I treat them as fiction..
If they are relying on dashboard readouts of mpg, they are of no value as usually inflated..
HJ shouldn't give any advice on private parking tickets if it includes paying up.
Absolutely no need if you appeal properly. Read more
My CRV is a 2014 diesel. 100% reliable without a single fault or non service part replaced. Hopefully it will be as reliable as my 2009 CRV in which I covered 100K miles without any faults. My sister has a 2006 CRV which has sofar done 140K miles and has only required two new calipers in twelve years. Even my neighbour bought one on my recommendation.I will stick with CRV's
