"Based on ownership of a Renault Dodge ex-BT workshop truck, you might have trouble finding somewhere to MOT test the bigger ones, since they wont fit on the hoist of most garages, and spares and information might be hard to find (though I think there's a Haynes manual for the Roadrunner)"

Sorry. Of course there's no Haynes for the Roadrunner, I was thinking of the Sherpa....

What are the fixes for this problem, can the system be adjusted, or is this a self adjusting system? Read more

Have they done away with the manual adjusters in the rear brake disc/drums?, those should be the first adjustment to be taken up, accessible only after wheel removal?

I have just been hit with a £1,300 bill for changing the ABS unit on my VW Golf, it is 5.5 years old with 47,000 miles onthe clock and a full service history from a VW dealer. Do you think that I am justified in asking VW for a goodwill payment?

I suspect it's the notorious Teves MK60 ABS system which has a known fault. The chance of getting anything out of VW is pretty much zero. Dealers often skip scheduled brake fluid changes which encourages internal corrosion and doesn't help matters.

I am considering changing the family car. Currently we have a 09 Civic EX which is a bit tight on space for 2 adults and 2 kids on longer trips & holidays. I am looking for something with a more upright driving position, good turning circle, slightly higher back seats for the kids as one gets very car sick. Budget around 8-11.5k I would rather be at the lower end... ... Read more

For radios whose Serial Number begins with a "V", followed by a six digit number, I'm afraid there is no Keycode generator available for you to work out the code yourself.

You will either need to visit your local Ford Main Dealer, or there are sellers on Ebay who claim they can supply the Keycodes for "V" Serial Numbers, for a fee....

Hi all, am I right in thinking that the £310pa supplement will be based on the cars list price excluding options? Cheers, Mark

Your correct. If the cars list price is £39,999 then you'll pay £140 but if you stick any options that take it over £40,000 then its £450.
