Hi,
My fiesta has a worrying problem. It all started months ago, when I used to be over 60MPH, the car stalls for 2-5 seconds and no matter how hard you press the gas, the car wouldnt go any faster. ... Read more

Hello
My van went into EAC fail last September & in january I put into ford for them to diagnose
The problem which they come back with 1, abs pump / module failure, along with 2, fuel
Temp sensor...3, Near side front wheel sensor... 4, glow plug fault codes
5, low battery output , after obtaining the part number & engineering number for ford
I sourced the correct pump with a 3 month warranty for a diesel specialist which all
Their unit gets tested before sent out, so got the pump fitted by my mechanic and
Sent the van back into ford to get the pump re programed & wouldnt re program
And clear the EAC fail .. Now for has work on my van for 2 & half hours and
Want it for a couple days at 72.00 per hour to look into the wiring loom & other
Areas.. After reading all you guys comments about this EAC Fail .. !
Do I trust ford for couple more hours on the van or tell the to read the
Formas first before send the van in ..?

John,
Has there been a precedence where a Court Ruling has been successfully overturned following an appeal when the initial Court Papers were entered with an incorrect name spelling originating from the arresting Police down to the Prosecuting Courts?
I have other queries relating to the main topic above. The conviction was a DUI - I openly admiited to it and followed all the instructions from the Court despite the incorrect spelling of my first and Sirnames, and even paid £175 to go on a Course to reduce my ban from 24 months to 18 months but due to the spelling error - the DVLA did not give me a Medical Exam in time in order to get my license back on the agreed early date.
As it happens, I am still waiting on a Medical Appointment from the DVLA now and it is now 24 months after the ban.

I suspect is it totally possible to appeal case of this kind. If the name is incorrect then the legal identity would be incorrect and therefore you technically have not been found guilty.
The issue for you is that in the real world all that will happen is you get retried and convicted of the same offence. Further as you attend the prevoius case and responed to the letters etc, you would libiable for all costs. The appeal would most like fail with corrects make to the orginal judgement....

In contrast to the buying process, the pick up of my new Captur was smooth and almost faultless.

Actually the bulk of the trip was on Asda unleaded rather than 98 RON, but i think a small engine in a largeish car means poor economy at high speed. I cannot imagine more than 1mpg better using 'better' fuel.
Conversely my usual suburban driving gets me about 41mpg as well and more sensible motorway or steady speed running achieves closer to 45+mpg. I have come to love motorway road works. A steady 50mph = 50mpg!
HI All
Since I bought my 63 plate ASX2 a year ago I've been trying to source front fogs for it, and despite my best efforts I've literally got nowhere, I've asked Mitsubishi countless times (head office & my local dealer), Mitsubishi's own web site sums the problem up, pre 2012 no problem and 15 plate no problem but 13/14 plates= no chance, and yet go into any mitsubishi dealership and look at any 2013/2014 ASX 3 or ASX4 and you'll see front fogs, with or without the fancy chrome, so why can't someone buy a set of fog's to fit to a ASX2 ?, I have looked at the U.S.A for help where fog kits are available but no one has ever responded and becuase I don't know if they will be compatible I've got nowhere that way either. I used to think Mitsubishi was a good company but as I've discovered you buy a car and then can't get something as simple as front fogs, whereas older and newer models you can !.... Read more
Anybody, anything ?.
Given that it seems 2010-2012 and 2015 owners appear to want to add fogs to their ASX2,surely I'm not the only 2013/2014 ASX 2 owner that would like to add front fogs to mine ?.
I've noticed recently that the temperature gauge is taking ages to get up to optimal temperature. It started after I changed the radiator and flushed out all the crud in the system. Around town it will get up to temperature but takes ages.in the heel we have been having its not taken to long and has managed to get to halfway on the gauge but when it was a bit cooler it would just get between 1/4 and 1/2 way. On the motorway it will start loosing temperature to a point where it is below 1/4. Am I right in suspecting the thermostat? Read more
That was my thoughts but it's an expensive part and a b***** to change so didn't want to take it out unnecessarly like. But it is a known problem on these so I think that's where I'll start. Thanks

Anybody help me to understand what I need to do/replace to fix it? Read more
Could be a fault with the pressure sensor which is part of the brake hydraulic modulator. Can you read actual value in brake pressure?
Does Anyone know the brand of tyre that was fitted from new. I want a nice soft ride. Just had landsail tyres fitted and they are terrible. It feels like I'm driving on the rims. Read more
Those are good reliable tyres, I have those tyres on both of my cars.
