A dead MAF will cause some power loss but not to the extent you have described i wouldn't have thought. An easy way to test the MAF is to unplug it (the MAF is located on the air intake just after the air box) and see how if it has fixed the problem.
I had an accident just before Christmas and would like to know who was a fault.... Read more

Very difficult to make any assesment without being able to hear what is going on.Take it to an a/c specialist and get him to remove the poly vee belt and listen for any rotational/bearing noise. There is no such thing as a quick fix on a modern car.hth
I have a '62 plate MazdaMX5 - Roadster coupe, which since day 1, has had a short, but clearly audible.engine rattle when starting from cold. If the car has stood overnight, it is a bit hard to hear, as the choke takes the revs up so quickly that it masks the sound. If however, you take the car for a run, leave it to stand for an hour or so, and start again, the rattle is very clear. The car has been back to the dealer, but as they didn't keep the car long enough to listen to it after an hour or so, they didn't find anything wrong. Their feeling is that everyting is OK; I'm a bit unconvinced. Am I worrying unnecessarily?

If you understood a little about economics you would see that the EU and America are the Chineses biggest trading partners and the economy of the EU far outways that of China.
China cannot expand its economy much more due to the worlds lack of carbon energy if it were to expand at the present rate it would use in seven years all the known energy sources in the world .Is that going to happen I think not time for another war.
Hi,
Don't know if anyone knows this neck of the woods here, but just last month as part of the Forth Road Bridge replacement crossing and a bunch of new road being constructed they've added about 12 overhead gantrys to this road (more road furniture to distract us all) with vairable speed signs that illuminate. ... Thanks, Yes I think that's right then, as the pdf guide to the new road design shows speeds with red circles, in fact it does not mention anything about orange flashing speeds

Have you checked the fuses?Probably the best place to start.hth
