O think Honda have also done it with the new Civic. That car looks like
it belongs in a science fiction movie.

I have said on here before that I reckon the Civic is car design by Steve Jobs and will look as out of date in 7 years time as a 2001 G3 tower or iMac does today.

If they read the fault-codes then they'll know exactly what the problem is.

Injector coding is one common issue; but there are many possibilities. Read more

you car is going into limp home mode so there must be a problem, with it going away when you restart the most common thing is the cam sensor. if its intermittant it might not show the code untill it was in limp home mode

Hi, My Kangoo van has developed a strange fault where when I turn the key the low fuel light will illuminate and stay on and the speedo clock and mileage will be blank. Also the fuel gauge shows empty and the rev counter is also dead. If i disconnect the battery and reconnect it the fault goes away until the next day. Any ideas please? Read more

Looking to buy an 08 Nissan Note. The model is advertised as an 'S'. Having looked at several websites the Note model range runs in parallel with rest of Nissan range ie Visia, Acenta etc. Does anyone know when Nissan made this change and did they update the spec of the cars? Is it likely an 08 'S' model may actually be a lot older but had been sitting around unregistered?

Nissan Note S + SE etc replaced mid 2007 with Acenta, Tekna etc names.

Although reg 08 the car will have been built early 2007 or even before that!
Might have been siitiing in a field for a time.

Note & Micra production is to be discontinued @ Sunderland in the near future

This maybe a daft question, but I have to answer it to put my mind at ease. My insurers provided my with a temporary cert. of insurance for a month when I first joined them which became a full cert when it ran it's course. The problem is they haven't sent the full certificate to me. They said they did but I have their correspondence letter with the date they sent it and they only gave me two policy schedules.

My question is will this legally allow me to drive? I have the policy with them but no certificate if I was required to produce it (they are sending one in the post).

I have recently bought a used 2006 Renault Laguna Initiale and I have found a couple of minor (yet niggly) problems.
The automatic headlight adjusters don't seem to work, they are set in the lowest height ( leaving little visibility in pitch dark).
The rain sensitive wipers don't work, they are stuck on one speed.
The fan on the climate control blow like a mouse flatulating (only now an issue when i want the car to heat up quickly).
Are these issues all linked in any way? (a shared fuse or similar).
Has anyone else suffered with the same problem? I don't want to go to the main dealer and spend loads on what are really only minor problems.
Cheers for any opinions.

Problem one is engine revs up on its own when stopped at traffic lights, between 750 revs and 1000,mainly when cold. The other query is when i unscrew the fuel cap thier's
alway's a hiss as if pressure is building up inside the tank ?

They're fairly famous for cracking the heads through the injector seats and running on the diesel leak - that might account for combustion gas returning to pressurize the tank too.

Hello,

I'm going on a daytrip to France in early December. Does anyone know of appropriate headlamp deflectors/beam benders which are suitable for the Tino?

thanks. Read more

for a daytrip?

dont bother, just use your internal headlamp adjuster to wind the dipped beam down.

Hello, need help as just bought a 2nd hand Clio.

Everything seemed fine on test drive, bought car and went for a spin. Then, out of the blue, after only 20 miles of city driving the engine began chugging really badly at some traffic lights. The gearstick was vibrating like crazy and the car felt like it was going to stall at any moment.

Just about got home! The problem did die down a little when the car was moving, but the acceleration was definitely affected and I've lost all confidence as to what I've bought!!

Please help ASAP!!!

Cheers Read more
