In 2013, my Volkswagen Passat was broken into and the built in radio/satnav unit was removed. The total repair bill through the insurance was around £2500. At the time, it was in a well used city centre council car park, well lit with cameras which turned out not to be recording at the time. Last year, my No Claims Bonus was nine years, my renewal has reduced that to three. This seems an excessive reduction and has the impact of doubling my premium from £509 to £997. Can I challenge the loss of my No Claims as excessive?
