Buying new car online 21 Dec 2013 (Forum)
Just considering buying a new car online via a broker who puts you in touch with a main dealer in UK from whom you buy the car, prices are so much lower than my local dealers. How is this possible ? Why doesnt everybody do it ? -

HJ's column 9 Sep 2003 (Forum)
The puns are truly wonderful, and truly excruciating. It's someone mighty clever. I can't believe it's an anonymous department; they bear the hallmarks of a fiendish individuality. -

Moscow motor show stars 29 Sep 2018 (Forum)
The pic in the magazine was small, so i looked up online to find some more detail. It certainly a distinctive looking machine, but to my mind, looks kinda like a caracature with it's ludicrously large wheels and dramatic wheel arch styling, https://www.motoringresearch.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/Lada_4x4_Vision_MR_02.jpg https://cdn.motor1.com/images/mgl/po8eV/s1/2018-lada-4x4-vision-concept.jpg Finally, there is Putin's new wheels!. -
Any - Buying spark plugs online 30 Apr 2011 (Forum)
Anyone recommend an online retailer for NGK spark plugs? My local factors don't do them at a good price. There are loads available online/ebay, but I don't want to end up with some cheap Chinese copies. -

'ilford.mdip.bt.net' - a plea for sanity 8 Apr 2002 (Forum)
I can do nothing about this, but ask that I am treated as the genuine person I am. Just because someone is making anonymous and bogus posts from 'ilford.mdip.bt.net' should not mean that all of us with similar ISP addresses should be treated badly. I do not live near Ilford, and do not use an ISP with Ilford or BT in the name. -
St George's Cross flags 20 May 2006 (Forum)
Although I'm totally in favour of patriotism, I can't help feeling that making a car conspicuous by attaching St George's Cross flags is (in today's unruly society) inviting the attention of lowlife. I always try to keep my car as inconspicuous and as anonymous as possible. -- L\'escargot. -

Audi 2.6 V6 service indicator 26 Jul 2003 (Forum)
Other forums are vague on this point - some later cars can be reset by a combination of push/pulls on the clock set/odo reset pins - this does not work on my car. Do I have to buy VAG-COM software to do this? Any other ideas? El Dingo (Martin). -

Buying Car Fluids Online 29 Oct 2005 (Forum)

Mercedes-Benz C-Class Estate - C-Class Estate boot height 4 Sep 2024 (Forum)
Does anyone have a C-Class estate and would be willing to measure the height of the boot (the tallest section right behind the back seat)? I'm considering buying one but want to check it'll be tall enough for my dog. There isn't one for sale anywhere near me so trying to save what could be a long wasted journey. I've looked online a lot but can't find that exact measurement, just the boot opening measurement from RIDC which will be different. -
