Hi, I hope someone can help me. My son in an AA learner driver car was involved in a minor traffic accident, on the way to his driving test, where the instructors car was hit causing damage to the bumper. The car was struck from behind, when the driver failed to stop in time.In spite of this my son passed his test. BUT, I NOW CANNOT GET INSURANCE FOR HIM AT ANY COST, BECAUSE ANY INSURANCE COMPANY I HAVE SPOKEN TO HAVE SAID, THEY WILL NOT QUOTE WHEN THERE IS AN UNRESOLVED CLAIM, AND IT WASNT EVEN MY SONS INSURANCE. Has anyone been in a similar situation and been able to resolve it. Many thanks in advance Jim

SM's experiences with the Abarth 500 do not surprise me if they relate to the downgraded 'facelift' version. Our experience of the latest 500 in both FIAT and Abarth guises is that the seating is now terrible, far too high (even with the height adjuster at its lowest setting) and really uncomfortable.

The original was, I agree, really good.

The only feature worth having from the facelift of the 500 is is the glovebox lid. Everything else is either pointless or retrogade. Read more

I doubt you need OBDII software-what you need is EOBD software which is similar but NOT identical.

I have a 03 registered Honda CRV and today stated hearing a whining sound when going round corners. I checked the power steering fluid and found it was below the bottom line.

I purchased some fluid and filled it to the required top level, about 20 miles later the noise started again and I had to refill the reservoir once more.... Read more

If there is no evidence of an external leak, feel the rubber bellows on the rack, you may find that's where the fluid is if an internal seal is leaking.

I have just taken delivery of a new company car as above. My issue is that I canno hear the other party, the volume may start high enough, but dwindles away to very feint. I had an SC60, same phone and no issues. I have searched the net, and other reports of the same, but no solution offered. Anybody else had this, or have a solution pls. Dealer is next, but fear it will be a fob off.

Hi, thanks for your response, and apologies for the belated reply. I searched online again, and eventually found a link on Volvo website, not easy, which it should be. Not all phones are compatible with Volvo Bluetooth, no idea why. I had to change my phone to one listed on their website. Shame on Volvo for making it hard to find.

Hi,

I have recently discovered that when pressing the clutch, I hear a rattling sound in my 2007 Vauxhall Vectra 1.8 VVT LIFE. Having searched around, this sort of behaviour points towards a Dual Mass Flywheel issue. However, it sees that this may not be relevant for my vehicle? I searched a few car parts website and there seems to be very little information to confirm if I have a DMF in the first place.... Read more

Sounds like clutch judder. I guess you'll soon be treating yourself to a new clutch.

Thank you very much for all your answers

If the ouside edges are wearing the the tracking is out, the wheels are towing in to much. But that could have been a long standing problem which has only no shown up because the tread is getting low....
