A shame I need to buy in August and it won't be available then by the looks of it. Will probably think about an Octavia Estate instead. Read more
Never mind the silly little gadgets how much will it cost? I can't see any figures. Read more
I'm really looking forward to hearing about when this car will be built and sold and how much it will cost, etc. Even if the real world range is "only" ~120 miles, it will be a winner!

Please say the new Rapide grille won't be used across the range. It looks like the Rapide has grown a beard or something that was morphed by accident on the designer's photoshop and then signed off by mistake.... Read more

I currently own a 52 plate Mondeo 1.8 zetec. We have had the car scince it was 3 years old and it came from one owner with full history and 92000 miles. It has now done 133000 and due to a change in circumstances i am now doing 2-3 thousand miles a month. The other day I worked out my MPG and to my surprise I found it was getting 44.5 mpg! It has no real value now but the clutch is nearing the end of its life and I need to work out if a diesel will work out cheaper. I do all my own maintainence although the cluch job would be farmed out. Have been offered a 53 plate Nissan Primera 2.2dci estate but not sure if it's worth it? Any suggestions?
Why are you worried about whether a diesel will give you 2 more MPG then?!
Get a big lairy v8...or a whisper quiet whatever...delete as appropriate....
How many miles can I expect the engine to last as it's only a 1.2!!? I get the car serviced at the correct intervals at the supplying dealer. I've done 50000 so far and cover 600 miles a week on mainly dual carraige way / motorway. Are there any known problems with this engine yet?
Many thanks for all who can answer!... Read more

Please help !!!! I have just bought a ford focus tdci 06 plate, when I picked the car up it drove get on the way home with no problems at all. After not running the car for a few days it started went for about half a mile and cut out when tried to start the car nothing there just dead the immobiliser light just flashing I got the car recovered to a local garage and they said it was the fuse box that had water in it under the glovebox. I had the replace this and they said it was fine great!!!! After picking the car up got about a mile down the road the engine powertrain warning light came on lost power and the speedo went to zero and the mileage went to ------ after a few minutes it went back to normal and was fine. The next time I went out the same thing happened but when tried starting back up the engine was immobilised and had to have it recovered to a garage again. After the garage did further investigation it has previously had a new instrument cluster and a ecu ? Someone has obviously been chasing the fault and I have bought someone else's problems. Please has someone got any ideas !!!!!!!!!!! Read more
hi there my citroen dispatch is using alot of fuel 60 miles on 20 quid driving it easy and the engine sits just above 70 regardless of how your driving ive changed the stat but no joy any ideas? really appreciate your feedback Read more
Does it produce any black smoke when you are driving? If it doesn't the problem is probably unlikely to be engine. The type of journeys you do will influence the mpg a lot, short journeys on a cold engine and in traffic can use twice as much fuel as at a steady speed on the motorway.
How are you checking the consumption, are you filling the tank to the brim?
I have fitted a set of reversing sensors to my van but cant find a switched power supply. In the hand book it suggests that there is a 5amp fuse at position 13 for the sensors but cant find a plug anywhere, can you help please.
