This is a strange one. The remote central locking on my wifes car works every time for her but only once in a blue moon for me. The dash says replace card battery but thats brand new so i know thats not at fault. I'll be standing next to her pressing the key card button with nothing happening but if i hand it to her it will work first time. Any help would be great as i'm sick of having to get my wife to open the car for me! Read more
I have just purchased a 2002 x type. The only thing that does not work is the parking radar.I get the continuous beep, which according to the manual, means its not working.Does anyone know how to diagnose where the fault lies.Thankyou for looking. Read more
I assume your system is not radar but ultrasonic. If you have good hearing you can listen close up to each sensor and you can hear a clicking noise. If one sensor had failed the unit indeed gives a continuous beep. There are Electro magnetic systems coming in but not available in 2002. Regards Peter
I have just had both front wheel bearings replaced to cure what was taken as an obvious bearing problem. the noise continues, it sounds like a worn bearing but i am now advised that it may be a problem with the drive shaft. the drive shaft has now been removed for testing and no problem has been found. Drive shaft has been replaced but still the noise continues. Mechanic suggests waiting untill noise becomes more accute and then possiblt replacing drive shaft.
is anyone familiar with this issue Read more
These Accords are known for the rear brake pads to stick in the calipers, which means that they drag on the discs. This may be the burning smell that you've noticed.

There's a simple reason why retail prices differ from online shops to local stores, because online shops do not include in their products prices the costs of renting the space of work, or these are very low compared to local stores rents. For the last two years I've been shopping mainly online, not only because of lower costs, but because the wider offer of products available on the Internet. I shop online for clothes, detergents and even large furniture items, such as carpets, outdoor furniture and blinds – got my roller blinds in made to measure sizes, just as I would have got them from the local store, but they were delivered right at my door steps, which is great.
