Find the evidence in the image that this motoring is not occuring in the UK.
There are at least 6 indicators - rank them in priority and explain the reason.

I purchased a 2008 Renault Laguna Dynamique S (series 3) yesterday from a car supermarket
Despite requesting an annual service (its first), it wasn't completed and I had to wait for them to complete whilst I was there (this was after a 150 trip there) but I thought the purchase price of 8,999 was reasonable.
Having signed the paperwork (PCP finance with Bank of Scotland) I drove the car away. On the trip back it was obvious the tracking was out on the car but then more alarmingly the car computer registered that an oil top up was needed.
My concern is that despite my service booklet being stamped by the car supermarket has the service been a token gesture? Surely an oil filter change and top up is 1st base on an annual service. If this was missed what else was missed. I spoke to the Sales Manager at the end of play last night and he is due to phone this morning. Returning the car 150 miles for a thorough service is not my preferred option.
Suggestions on my option from here would be most helpful? Do I:
a) Notify trading standards?
b) Request the price of my service refunded?
c) Outline the I do not accept the car because of these issues - is it fit for purpose?
d) Do I ask for the car supermarket to pay for a local Renault service?
e) Accept the fact that you get what you pay for??

Car Supermarkets, like all dealers both franchised or otherwise can give good or bad experiences. In the case of the cash back, you should have insisted on a cheque when you collected the Renault as they are buying your PX off you, but hindsight is wonderful.
As regards the service, I would think that unless you can prove that the Car Supermarket serviced it to manufacturer's schedule then the 3 year Renault warranty would be invalidated. I would book it into your nearest Renault dealer ASAP to ensure the warranty remains
As for the tracking, is it worth the cost of a 150 journey? If not get it done locally & send them the bill, they may pay.
hi i have a query with re to an accident i been studying.
if a driver is pulling from a side road and see's a vehicle turning into that side road so comes out onto the main road and collides with a vehicle overtaking that vehicle turning!! who would be held at fault for this.
if the driver admitted to overtaking then would be able to rec something from that driver???
also powell v moody
is this case law for motorbikes or can it be used for cars as well .
{subject header *hopefully* made less vague!}

Obviously blame is down the drivers.
Consider:
TSGD states the significance of a white line at the mouth of a junction with the primary road is that it should not crossed if it causes another vehicle to brake or change course.
Likewise the Highway Code states that one should not overtake at the approach to a junction and where you may come in conflict with other road users.
Normally to assess blame one should look at the one doing the unusual manoevre, whicn in this case seems both.
Whilst on paper so far it would appear to be 50/50 a lot depends on the layout of the road and what indpendent wiitnesses can say?

Above vehicle is a taxi milage 150,000.
When car started on cold mornings it emits clouds of black smoke and won't rev up until ignition recycled when then driven a short distance stops and won't rev again until ignition recycled again.
Vehicle also idles very rough with slight engine rock as if off a cylinder it takes a long time to reach running temperature.
We put our hand held code reader on vehicle code came up P 1239.
Injector - open circut wiring
When running temperature reached vehicle runs 100% all day long.
Any feedback greatly accepted,

H All!
Looks like it's time for the Omega to depart this world - coolant leaking, so too much £$£$ to consider fixing.
Anyway, can't find much feedback, regarding the 1.3 diesel Astras, which are now sneaking into auction.
They're not exactly bargains, but supposedly verrrrry low running costs, make them appealing.
Has anyone any ownership comments. Or even just driving experience. It does, on the face of it seem a small engine - which apparently can be re-mapped - when they also offer 1.9 variants.
Thanks in advance!

Very good in the Corsa Combo van which I'd guess is a similar weight to an Astra. Very quiet and 52 mpg.
On doing some checks on above vehicle found ignition on voltage to 3 units down.
Voltage at EGR Solonoid 3.55 volts
Turbo charger solonoid 3.55 volts
3rd piston cut off 3.55 volts
At present using auto data wiring diagram but did not find it much use. Can anyone put me in track of proper wiring diagram or can foward some help on this any feedback greatly accepted.

Hello all. We have just bought a fiesta style+ diesel. 1100 miles in. One teething trouble so far - passenger door lock sticking - now sorted after 10 days wait for the part.
But - we have noticed that the convex overtaking mirror is on the passenger side and not where it should be - on the drivers side. Garage says all new fiestas are like that so it must be ford policy. Doesn't seem right to me. Unsafe on motorway and inconvenient. Views anyone? Read more
You can get replacement mirrors (ie just the glass) in Halfords which are designed to be stuck on to broken ones. They do flat and convex-at-the end options - the latter for about £16
So you could stick a convex one onto the existing flat glass assuming the sticky pads are thick enough to take up the "gap".
I notice a dealer in Scotland selling Nissan Tiida 1.6 with warranty until Mar 2012 at 8995.
Not that I am looking atone, but there is no mention of this car on Nissans website, so where are they coming from? As far as I was aware they were not sold in Europe at all. Also anyone buying one, surely spares will be a major league PITA.
In saloon form not pretty, but the hatch looks OK and my old man had one as a hire car in South Africa last year said it was great. Seems a hell of a lot of car for the money but really curious as to where these are coming from as it really is the replacement for Almera - a segment in which Nissan stated they would no longer compete. Holdcroft Nissan main dealer in Stoke on Trent are selling all models of Tiida starting at £8995.
They come in through Northern Ireland but are first registered in the UK and have delivery mileage with full 3 year Pan European warranty. Very comfortable cars with huge boots in either saloon or hatchbacks. Worth a look at this price. Better than a used car for more money!
I have a 07 1.6 focus zetec and had problems with the gears slipping out of 2nd, 3rd at slow speed around town, and not being able to select reverse without double pressing the clutch. i took it to my local ford dealer, as i have only had the car from Oct 08 and it is still under warranty(Ford Direct). They had the car for a couple of days and could'nt find any faults with it. I received a service inspection sheet, that had cleared the car of any faults. Having the all clear, three weeks after i took the trip from London to Devon with my girlfriend for the easter weekend. All was fine until about an hour into the return journey while changing from 2nd to 3rd the engine revved loudly and i had no gears to select and free wheeled to a standstill. After being recovered the car is at the dealers again, who rang me saying that the clutch is burnt out and the flywheel is blown and will cost £786 + vat to repair. Do clutches just snap(no smell when it happened)? and should i still be covered? Read more
>>a lot of ex-ford direct cars are hire cars>>
I hired a 3 month old Mondeo and was driven back home by one of the hire company's sales staff. He rode the clutch for over 5 miles in heavy traffic on an incline and the smell was over-powering. When I mentioned that he was burning out the clutch he just laughed. I'll never buy an ex-rental car.
