My name is Peter van Lanschot and I am a user experience designer.
I work for a company called Syzygy, where we build Mazda's websites. We?re testing a new web site we?re currently working on at the moment for Mazda so we can see what it?s like for actual people to use it. I need a total of 6 test participants who fit these criteria:
- you are in the market for a new car.
- you are familiar with using the Internet to research before making a big purchase.
- you do not work in marketing.
- you do not work for a car manufacturer.
- you are not serial market research addicts.
I am seeking potential recruits who are in the market for a new car, to participate in one-on-one discussions. The session will last approximately 1 hour and there is a cash compensation for participating. The session will take place at Syzygy?s office in central London. The feedback gained from this session will directly influence the website development of our client.
If you think this applies to you, then please get in touch with me for a further conversation.

hi, a little help please..
when trying to overtake on motorways, dual garriges and the like, my mondi goes in to safe mode for no apparent reason (flashing glow plug) and losses power, and the only way to overide it seems to be switching off! which is not ideal when im on the m20.
Any ideas, suggestions what this could be??

Does the screw in rear brake adjuster stop turning when it is fully in or does it just keep turning. I can not get enough clearance for the new pads and disk. Regards Peter Read more
I posted whilst it was raining but when I returned to the job I unscrewed the auto adjust and then wound it back in with no problem at all. Stand down all it well. Regards Peter

"The study also said further work should be carried out to identify whether short term improvements could be delivered to provide a smoother flow of traffic at the existing crossing."
How much will this study cost?
Is it too blindingly obvious in this green era that you donate the toll boths to a charity and scrap the toll charges thus saving the earth by emitting less what ever it is as you slow down and speed up again. Boris are you listening ? You are sorting the traffic lights out so please deal with this too.

Why can't we have the one in Thamesmead that was first proposed in the '60s
and twice since?
Because the longest ever public enquiry into a single road scheme decided against it on environmental grounds.
My rear fog light no longer works, bulb and earth check ok, there is a switch with 6 wires on it one of which receives 12v when lights are turned on but no output to rear fog light. Is there a relay involved and if so where is it located?
Many thanks

its a common reason on cars why the fog dont work,it still catches me out

Hi, I am considering towing a caravan and I have been given some conflicting information regarding my gearbox. I have read that I might need to install and extra tranmission fluid cooler, but I cannot find too much info about this. My local dealer tells me (not very confidently) it's not necessary, but I thought it best to check here with the real experts ;-)
My car is well maintained and looked after and I will be towing well within the guide weight limits.
Any light you guys can shed is much appreciated, and any recomendation where to find info is also appreciated
Cheers Read more
My friend towed a van with an accord 2.0 auto & it suffered with very soft rear suspension & the autobox overheating dispite the dealers advice that it would be fine.
He had an oil change & a big cooler fitted & never a problem after that apart from softly sprung at the rear.
evening people,my cruiser failed mot on fog lights...i though it was the stalk as its bit sloppy ....before i bought one ,i checked fuses, light bulbs back n front ,then assumed it must be the stalk, fitted new mopar stalk...still not working ...any ideas.....many thanks Read more

Hi all,
Just found this forum.
We are having some problem with our RENAULT MEGANE SCENIC RX4 SPORT for last 1 month.
Firstly it doesn't start straight away. It takes few minutes to start. In the morning it worst. Sometimes after few minutes driving the engine goes off and you need to start again.
In the motor way it takes ages to reach 70mph. If there are a little slope in the motor way the speed goes down regardless how hard you are pressing the accelerator.
Although I am not very good with cars but I am guessing it is something with fuel supply.
Is there anyone who has experienced the same?
I would really appreciate any advice.
Thanks
john

Anyone ???
Thanks in advance
The last two times we've crossed with Eurotunnel we've had a long wait at the GB side - completely unexplained by the staff - and, despite arriving a couple of hours early, have actually had to take a later crossing.
It's not a problem on the French side.
Anyone else noticed this, or have we just been unlucky? Read more
Just back from a trip to France and found the whole experiance very painless. Came back sunday, last day of Easter hols for many so was expecting some delays. Off the French motorway at 1200, departed on the 1252 and was on the M20 at 1230 (or 1330 French time). Beats the ferry by a good hour.
I know what you mean about the break though, but since we get the Chunnel effectively free (thanks Tesco) its a no brainer for us.

This was in the news while we were over in France recently.
Great shame, I think: no more being able to say "blooming Parisians" when cut up by a 75 plate ... Read more
Bosnia similarly has avoided regional number plates, wisely. Although Serbia and Croatia persist with them.
I once hired a car in Croatia and drove it to Montenegro, where it was vandalised over night, in the shape of a well known Serbian national symbol. Thankfully I had bought top insurance cover and was not charged for resparying the bonnet of a metallic silver Fabia.
I often drive Serbian registered hire cars through Vukovar in Croatia, although I try not to leave them parked up on street and keep them in a locked compound when I arrive at my destination. No problems so far.............
I also once drove a Portuguese hire car in to Spain and had the car broken in to over night, they smashed the rear door quarterlight (Clio II) and had a good rummage around, but there was nothing to steal.
I'm all in favour of pan-European number plates, although will there be enough combinations to go around?
What I miss most on French cars is the old yellow headlights they all used to have.

hiya, will have a look and get back to you..if it works or dosent.
thanks again
