Electrical fault with Skoda Superb

We purchased a 2015 Skoda Superb in L&K trim five weeks ago with high hopes; it had done 3100 miles and was five months old. Since buying the car, it has been back to the garage three times for electronic problems, mostly connected with the seat settings and rear mirrors which appear to have minds of their own.

On the first return, the garage found that the wiring harness in the offside door was disconnected but this failed to solve the problems and, now, after two further visits, they have disclaimed all responsibility. Short of taking the legal route, we are at a loss. Is this an intrinsic fault of the vehicle?

Reads as if the memory function has failed. If it has electric seats and mirrors, the memory function will reset both, but if that has failed then it will give the sort of problems you are experiencing. Back to the dealer and if he can't fix it, reject the car. Of course, another reason for this and the disconnected wiring in the driver's door might be that the car has sustained a bump to the door.
