Overall reliability

An underrated car that deserves more positive feedback.

Have owned the car for 4 years now with not a hint of trouble. The drive is very good,it can be hustled along where possible. Economy has proved very consistent, regularly returning an average of 32+ in my normal commute to and from work and local journeys, and up to 39 on longer journeys. Servicing costs have been average and it has never needed an oil top up between services. I find the car very comfortable, more so than a 53 plate Mondeo Ghia I owned prior to this car.
I only have 2 gripes.
1 is that I feel the ventilation system could be more efficient. Some colder mornings when I leave work,it seems to take an age to demist, even with the dedicated screen setting (this is when I miss the Mondeos heated screen).

2. The paintwork does seem a little on the soft side. It picks up minor blemishes very easily.

That aside,I have been extremely happy with the car. I intend to move on to the latest 6 in the summer. I only hope it proves as reliable and as enjoyable to drive as this model.
