More than a year ago I bought an 80s classic car from a Dealer who specialises in a different marque.
A typical average price for one of these cars in good condition is around £25k but I paid £34k for mine because it had low mileage and was in very good condition. I remain happy with the car..
The value of these cars is with their originality and that’s what I assumed I was buying by virtue of the price premium. I’ve recently discovered that the interior of the car has been changed at some time in its history.
It will cost approximately £2,500 to change the interior to restore originality and I’ve asked the Dealer to fund or contribute towards this cost. He has refused.
Do I have any redress against the Dealer?
Appreciate any words of wisdom, thank you. Read more
