Mark,
Mild (hopefully constructive) criticism...you spent the first two mins telling us stuff we (who are rather interested and consumers of any relevant info) already knew from the press, other vids. You might have spent a wee bit time outside the car, discussing Tetsuya Tada and his approach to this car, really interesting btw.
Very good chance this will be a future classic, combination of very limited numbers, reviews such as yours, very customizable, (see Tada san info), etc. Without a partner, this car would never have seen production, so for all those against BMW and their significant contributions, would you rather have a concept car from Toyota and nothing further to buy, or this rather good start to the process?. I fall into the category of customers who cannot get equivalent replacement GAP cover. Warranty Direct are still selling GAP policies but apparently won't accept any application for Return to Invoice cover for a vehicle which was purchased more than 12 months ago. LAMP Insurance went into liquidation with effect from 31st May 2019 and my vehicle was purchased on 21st June 2018. If Warranty Direct had informed me immediately about the liquidation, I would have been in with a fighting chance of being able to take out replacement cover. Let's hope their negotiations with Pinnacle, their new underwriter, are successful - provided that the price to the policyholder is reasonable, of course. Read more

Minimum of £200 for a full door paint and blend in, possibly slightly less if you know someone and are a regular, more in some areas of the country.
Is a smart repair of just the scratch not a possible?, also will the childs father help you both out by ferrying you to/from the bodyshop as necessary, the more cost effective bodyshops alluded to above, which i use, don't have courtesy cars.
where I live it seems as though if you are a young male the way you cross a road is to simply stare at the traffic as you step straight in front of it. It is then necessary that as you take evasive action to avoid said individual they often have to swear at you. The other more passive way to cross traffic involves staring at a phone screen as you stroll across the road without a care in the world.
Is this unique to just where I live or is this method employed nationally? I wonder if these are the same people that do not know what white lines are for and simply launch themselves into the traffic assuming it will also take evasive action to allow them to proceed.... Read more
Lovely country we live in at the moment. Sadly, the alternatives aren't any better....
Shortly to be available in Europe, it's EU rules homologated as it is classed as an autocycle and can be driven on an "A" licence so avoids the car homologation rules.

I also vaguely remember a partcularly bizarre Mini based kit car with 3 wheels. I have tried to find pics to no avail, and i can't remember what it was called, but i do remember you sat astride it like a motorbike (and yes, i think it had handlebars)!. Anyone shed any light on what it is i'm trying to remember?
Found it myself, it was caled the Stimson Scorcher(!), but it did have a steering wheel. Mental looking thing, with a tuned 1275 engine this would probably be terrifying!. Wonder how many they sold?...

My sentiments exactly, having dealt with many (by no means all and it depends on what work they are doing) of this type of person in the Public Sector throughout my career as an engineer. The same goes for most politicians as well.
