Father Christmas' sleigh broke down on Christmas Eve.
He flagged down a passing motorist and asked, 'Can you help me fix my sleigh?'
'Sorry,' the motorist replied. 'I'm not a mechanic - I'm a chiropodist.'
'Well, can you give me a toe?'
Hi everyone, I hope someone can help,

Thank you for all the suggestions. I'll try to get them looked at asap. I'll likely get my nephew to help as he's more engine bay savvy than me!!
Hi
I have a 2015 ford focus 2.0 diesel auto with the bi-xenon headlights.... Read more
Some cars, Ford and VW Group, but not all model/trims are fitted with lower output bi-xenons which use a 25w bulb rather than 35w or higher - this lower light output (2000 lumens) allows cost savings as levelling and headlight washers aren't a legal requirement.
I've been caught with my new VW Touareg as it gets 25w bi-xenons as standard so I didn't tick the extra cost option box for 35w bi-xenons. The light output is worse than my previous Hyundai Santa Fe which had standard halogen bulbs but I'd fitted legal high intensity 100%+ bulbs....
For no reason at all my engine bellowed smoke out of exhaust pipe, also oil dripped out of exhaust. Checked the oil level only to find it was very low ,removed dip stick it was blowing real hard, the car has only done 24k,i thought pistons, rings ,or something bad gone in engine,I removed cyl head and pistons but could see anything wrong other than glazed bores, rehoned the bores new set of piston rings rebuilt the engine and started up,Only to find I had the same problem heavy smoking and oil dripping out of exhaust, this tme upon removing the dip stick I found that it air was not actualy blowing out, it was SUCKING in so heavy it could pull my finger down.the oil level is also dropping. Knackered. Oil never ever changed.
Not that uncommon.

But it is confusing. The only difference between them all is size. So if I see an Audi is it a big one far away? Or a small one close up?

Just had a turbo replaced at a garage for my Focus tdci, and since then i can hear a ticking sound on acceleration that wasnt there before.
Is this something the garage didnt fix right, or another problem?... Read more
Exhaust leak or injector seal. Its possible that extra boost from a new turbo could blow a weak seal.
I hope they replaced all the oil feed and return pipes and cleaned the oil pick up filter in the sump otherwise you will be needing another in a few weeks !...

Have changed the fluid 3 times in the past year which alleviated mostly the judder pulling away in forward drive. Recently the reversing problem has manifested itself. What can it be? Read more
