Hi, I am trying to help a mate who,s meganne shows electrical fault after heavy rain. I can not get the upper fusebox out of the housing, it is off each side but seems clipped at the back which mounts to the side of inner wing. It seems impossible, can anybody point me in the right direction otherwise I can only think of cutting the top to remove fuse carrier and siliconing it back.
Any advice would be fantastic as I am now starting to lose it!

Hi guys
My '52 plate Picasso's blower fan motor needs replaced. My local garage has quoted me £140 to replace it, £80 for part plus 1.5 hr labour. Does this seem reasonable? Unfortunately it isn't a job I can do myself... Read more
Is the motor still working but you just can't turn it lower? Common fault with the XPic. Just a simple cheap resistor that needs replacing. Try googling it for the fix.

Good advice from the forum but try to do as daveyjp suggests and drive your car until it goes in for repairs. Then use the courtesy car provided by the repairer. Do not take the replacement vehicle. Tell them you don't need it and send them away. They will come after you if it all works out against you. Be under on illusions, they don't give out replacement cars because they are nice people, they do it because they make someone pay for it and they make money. That someone is often the poor sap who thinks he is in the right, but it cannot be proved conclusively. Take notice.
Let us know how you get on and best of luck....
Just realised I topped up my PAS reservoir with brake fluid. Siphoned out the contents of the reservoir and intend to repeat the process.
Grateful for your advice.... Read more
If you didn't run the engine, no matter, what you put in, you have sucked out. If you did run it, I'd replace the reservoir (it has a filter in the bottom) after a flush.

is this the type where the fuse box is mounted upside down?
