Can anyone put up some links for me

Can anyone diagnose this noise on my N reg 1.8?
When I back off the drive all is well until I turn the steering wheel at which point I get a clonk from the back passenger side.
Recently this has got worse so it now comes from the back driver's side also. Seems to occur on changes of direction/camber e.g. going over speed bumps.
Renewing the rear shocks hasn't helped. I'm wondering if it's the large suspension bushes that hold the axle on at the front on the 'H' shape? If so it it an expensive job?
Or is there an anti roll bar at the rear?
Thanks for any advice from experts and fellow sufferers.

You will need to jack it up off the ground allowing the axle to float and have a good prod around. If the axle bushes have gone they need replacing pretty quick so as not inccur further damage.
Anyone know what that building is that's going up on the verge between M4 J11/10 eastbound?
I've only seen it from the B3270 that runs alongside the motorway at that point, but it just looks like a small house.

"traffic detection system" eh? Wouldn't also happen to facilitate future intro of road pricing would it?. [oops - veered off the subject don't know what came over me]
My Mazda is going to scrap heap in June as it is written off due to a rear shunt. It is currently still driveable and legal until the MOT runs out in June. The fan belt is slipping, any advice on tightening it? Is it easy, if so how? I only want it to survive a couple more months!!!!!! Read more
Just a thought - if it's been written off what are you doing for insurance at the moment?
My wipers stopped working all of a sudden. When I try to use them, i can hear the motor at work, but the wipers won't budge.
Mercedes Benz inspected my car and gave me an estimate of £450 (£120 for the motor and the rest is labour; full of duress).
Many forums suggest that the wipers may have simply snapped off the motor. But I don't know how to even get the turtle shell off the engine beneath the hood. Probably someone has got pictures pointing where any lugs which may be holding the shell? I read on a website that replacing a faulty motor is easy if one can reach it. Just need help reaching that thing.
All help would be appreciated as I don't want to waste money on replacing my motor; at least from a benz garage. I've been thru them in my warranty period and they will simply replace anything which doesn't seem to be working. They have replaced my comand three times for a battery failure problem and later found out that it was something else. (My view: totally illiterate & inefficient non-professionals; greedy of money)
Please help me if you can. If you are a merc pro; i'm sorry as I don't want to hurt individuals. It's the company policy, which I'm against.
Thanks
Terry

IIRC the motor is not under that turtle shell. The motor is to the side, you should be able to see it if you look. If you can hear is whirring then it sounds like a linkage fault.

Spotted this on another forum and did a quick search over here for info.
Is this a genuine attempt to set up a fuel discount club in the UK for your average Joe Blogg motorist???
Perhaps we need HJ on the case to investigate???? Read more
Been discussed plenty before....

Hi guys
Anyone got a good recommendation for someone who can fit a good quality window into the side of a VW T5 Transporter, ideally within easy reach of Stamford (Lincs)

Fitting a window in a van to the rear of the driver's seat does convert it to a car for VAT purposes, even if there are no seats behind the driver.
Have a look at Notice 700/64 on the HMRC website.

Bought a 04 plate car recently with over one years manufacturer's warranty The non franchise garage where I bought it serviced the car as this was due.Question is -is the manufacturer's warranty still valid as their blurb says it needs to be serviced by them.
I thought this obligation had changed:anyone know for certain before I speak to them?

Thanks guys you,ve confirmed what I thought. I'll check that the correct obvious parts:filters etc are manufacturers spec.and replace them if not. Incidently as far as the warranty terms are concerned seems that the supplier (Subaru)will not raise "wear and tear" issues if the mileage is below 60k except for the usual brake and clutch caveats. Seems fair to me.
