I'm six foot four - will I need the panoramic roof on the Range Rover Evoque for more headroom?

I'd like to buy a nearly new Range Rover Evoque. My budget is £30,000 and we would ideally like four wheel drive. What is the best spec? We heard from a friend that the panoramic roof is essential to give you more headroom, is that right? I'm six foot four.

An opening sunroof usually gives less headroom. Can't see how a fixed glass panoramic sunroof with a blind across would give more. Maybe you should be looking at a Land Rover Discovery Sport. If diesel, it needs to be the JLR Ingenium diesel engine, not the old 2.2 Ford diesel. The petrol alternative in a used Evoque is Ford's very good 2.0 EcoBoost 240.
