Problems with used minibus - what are my rights?

I bought a second hand minibus from a dealer and was told after they insisted I pay for it in full before collection that it wasn't ready as it had a couple of issues. These have dragged on for weeks, and have cost them to put them right. Is it feasible that they are delaying on purpose to force me to ask for a full refund so that they can resell it for more to cover their losses?

I would suggest asking for a full refund. Any respectable dealer would have sorted these issues before putting the minibus on their forecourt. The fact they have cut corners in the pre-sale prep would ring alarm bells.

The 2015 Consumer Rights Act give you the right to a full refund in the first 30 days if any problem is found: www.honestjohn.co.uk/how-to-reject-a-car-your-cons.../
