I have a car on PCP that has minor damage - will I be charged for repairs upon returning it after three years?
I have an Hyundai ix35 on three year PCP. It was one year old when I got it. It has some kerb scratches on the alloy wheels and minor scratches on the body, will the garage try to charge me to rectify these matters when I return the car at the end the three years? If so, should I pay to get these issues fixed before I return the car. The car will be four years old at that point, so is this not fair wear and tear?

Yes, you will probably be charged for the damage on returning the car. The best thing to do is ask the dealer what the charge is likely to be and whether, if you get it fixed first, he will waive the charges. Probably better to leave it as it is because if the repair job is not up to scratch you could end up paying for rectification twice. Or pay the car off and keep it, avoiding any such charges.
