I like the Volvo XC60 but they're all electric or hybrid. Should I still buy one?

Now that Volvos are all-electric or hybrid, would you still recommend the XC60 or should I look for an alternative as I really want petrol? If so, what would you recommend?

Don't be put off by the hybrid engines in the XC60 line-up. Most aren't 'self-charging' hybrids, they're merely mild-hybrid units which pairs a petrol or diesel engine with a small battery and 48V generator. This improves both fuel consumption and performance, by capturing energy usually lost under braking and using this to provide a boost during acceleration. In truth, you'll hardly notice a difference between a mild-hybrid XC60 and a conventional petrol or diesel model.
