  The warning goes off as quick as it takes to read and doesn't come on again, the car has been into the local Ford garage for a full check and they cannot find anything wrong. Also the alarm goes off at odd times for no apparant reason, therefore I am wondering if it could be caused by damp and what would be a good way of curing the problems?

  Hi, forgive me for my complete lack of knowledge please :-) I have a MK3 Ford Mondeo Estate and the rubber seal which fits on the bottom of the door "frame" (told you I'm a novice!) inside the car has split. I am hoping to replace it myself in order to save cash. The question is, what is the name of the part I require?

    Hi i have a ford fiesta 1998 encore when driving the steering wheel pulles left and there is a vibration that can be felt coming from the passenger front wheel area. The pulling to the left is felt more at low speed and appears to be timed to a full revolution of the front tyres, the vibration is felt more at speeds between 20 mph onwards .

  Any ideas, am I missing something? The key will still unlock the car manually and will start the engine. It is the three button ford key with unlock, lock and boot buttons on it. Thanks!

  Hi,      My daughter has just bought a ford ! (the second only in our family ) so we know nothing about them and thier querks so are seeking some advice / guidance. Her problem is that the internal airflow is directed to the windscreen only, no matter where the dial is positioned.Great to defrost/demist  but annoying her intently.

  I bought a Ford Fusion car from a motor dealer and unfortunately the engine and gearbox blew a week later. Insurance company wrote off car and agreed to pay full insured amount and asked for MoT certificate. Found out it had expired just over a month previously.

  Wondering what would be best suited car for my journey, I drive sensibly, sticking to around 60 MPH to save fuel and cash :-) Don't over rev the car, breaking smootly .. I was thinking a Ford Fiesta 1.4 Edge,  or maybe a 1.6 engine, spending around £6 - 8K. Any advise would be great, hope I provided the right info & sorry for posting again

  my 2005 ford focus 1.6 tdci as developed a power loss problem. it will be driving ok then all of a sudden it just as no power, as though there is a blockage in the fuel line. its only for a couple of seconds, it loses power, growls a little and gives out a puff of smoke and then its fine again for a few moments then it does it again. its generally ok at higher speeds. its just been serviced, all the filters done, fuel filter changed twice just in case that was the problem, and i always use shell v-power diesel or similar. please help.

  We had to call green flag but when they ran a diagnostic it did not show a code. the bloke said it might be one of the pumps???? Any thoughts on problem and also do I need to take it to a Ford garage to get it sorted or will anywhere do?? AAAGGGH! Comments gratefully received.

  Hello all I have a 2006 ford focus 1.8 tdci, just recently the air con has stopped working. i took it to a garage to have it re gassed and was told gas levels were ok. Since then i have checked fuses all ok, Relay is energising, high and low pressure switchs are ok but the compressor isnt kicking in.

  hi to all i have recently purchased an 05 plate damaged repairable ford mondeo tdci it has light front end damage and fitted to the front of the car are 2 white plastic canisters with a rubber tube that comes from both canisters and is linked into the air pipe between the air filter box and turbo and there is also a positve and negitive feed from each canister which is linked direct to the battery does any1 have any idea what this is ???

  I have followed another thread and reset the climate control and had no error codes present, both heater pipes from bulkhead seem to be warm to hot and no evidence of any contamination in the expansion tank.Has anyone any ideas before i have to dig deep and visit fords

  Hi there, I've just had a new Steering Rack fitted to my Ford Mondeo Mk2 Now the Air Bag warning light is flashing 'one flash' and the Cruise Control is dead. The garage are trying to say it's nothing to do with the work they've just done... It was fine before the work and immediately upon driving it away I noticed the warning light.

  Does anyone know or can anyone point me in  the right direction to find out if a Focus described above which normally has wheel trims could have been specified when new with Ford's  Alloy wheels?    Mine has got the alloys that can be seen on the Zetec model of the same age ( 5 x 2 spokes with centre caps).  I've seen a few other LX Focus'  with the same alloys as mine but I know that nearly all had just wheel trims.

  hi folks, I've recently bought another new car to replace my bora, (had problems with it from day one but not my money back....yet) This car was part exchanged today in the garage down the road from me so I got it pretty cheap, at £1200  it's a 1.8 Ford Focus Ghia turbo diesel with just over 100k on the clock.   while chatting about the car I was told the previous owner had it tax under some disability thing, how do I go about changing it to standard (LGV?)

  Hi guys Hope you can give me a bit of advice on this one. I am currently driving a Ford Escort 55 1.8D Van and the gear change between 2-3 is crunchy. If i ease the  the change it wont crunch - i.e slightly longer than normal to change the gear - which i have got used tpo but if i am giving the car some power and changing the gears fairly quick then i get this crunch.

    The MPG is low, and if you try to accelerate at or below 2k rpm the engine misfires quite violently and struggles to pickup - although it does eventually. New plugs, aftermarket coil & HT leads.  New ford Air filter, temp sensor and thermostat.  I've checked the crank/cam and o2 sensors on a o'scope and they seem fine (at idle at least) No DTC codes logged,  can see all good things on live data screen, o2 sensor switching ok etc.

  Hi,I have just bought a new 59 plate Ford Mondeo Titatium X with delivery miles on the clock from Arnold Clark in Leyland.The car is perfect in every way but i didn't receive a second key with the salesman stating that the second key would arrive by recorded delivery to them and they would forward it on by recorded delivery to me.They said that this usually takes about a week.
