  What in anyones opinion are the best seats ever put into a mass produced car?? (That can still be purchased and used day to day today e.g no 30 year old renaults) The swedish and french cars all seem to get good reviews. Is it wise to steer clear of german seats?

  Reading in Autocar this week the staggering statistic that 58% of all fatalities were not wearing their seatbelts. Not sure whether wearing seat belts is mandatory in all states, but why the resistance to seat belts over there? I would imagine that the % of UK drivers not buckling up is nowhere neat that?

  The driver's seat on my C70 has developed an annoying creak when ever your weight shifts while cornering. I've checked and lubricated the underpinnings and they seem solid enough. I feel the problem may be in the base of the seat - can this be removed easily for inspection?

  I have a g reg renault 5 with an involountary reclining tendancy of drivers seat .as theres not many 5\'s around in breakers & i dont want to buy new would any other seats fit easily eg clio.thanks in advance if anyone can help

  Volkswagen Golf 1.4 125ps Se Nav or Seat Leon 1.4 150ps FR Tech Both same age 2017 and under 8k miles. Leon has less. Both DSG and petrol. Seat has COD - cyclinder on demand and driver profiles. Same price for both. Golf may ‘age’ better... and better interior.

  Hi, After a protracted search we decided to proceed with buying a seat Alhambra (2018, S trim) as our new family car (see previous posts). We had an inspection carried out on it but didn’t try driving it with all the kids in so never tried the middle seat belt. Got it home and went to put in the car seats and found the middle seat belt (which feeds from the roof) is covered in mould.

  A friend wants a ford transit or similar minibus LWB and is planning on taking out most of the seats and having some space at the back doors for the camping gear and stuff.. He's got 5x kids and the wife so ideally to be comfortable 7-8 seats is needed, the question is folks if he takes these seats out is it legal to drive ok?

  One of my daugthers will be 5 soon, her current car seat specifies 9 months to 4 years but she is very small for her age, well within the weight and height her seat is designed for. We have sat her in the group 2 car seats that have the normal three point belt going round her but they do not look like she is safe so we intend to keep her in the group one seat until she is big enough.

  Even at the lowest recline, this seat sits almost upright meaning our newborns head just flops forward, this is a serious design failure of the seat and one that I cannot believe Joie with all of their experience in this field failed to recognise when this seat was developed.

  Is it possible to fit baby seats to the 2 passenger seats in the Partner? Obviously we will need to disable the air bag. The main reason for the van is that we also have 2 big dogs. An alternative I guess would be to trade in for something like the Honda FR-V and put the back seats down.

  Does anyone have product recommendations for seat belt adjustors for children who are above the legal height requirement for a booster seat but are of lean built due to which some sort of adjustment can help the belt fit snugly and away from the neck.

  The release catch has broken on the off side rear seat. Does anyone know how you get it out to replease it, without cutting the seat to pieces...................?

  I want to fit a forward facing child seat in an MX5 Icon (2000W) and have been told by dealer that the car is not fitted with the transponder in passenger seat to deactivate the passenger airbag. Any ideas on how to overcome this situation?

  Hi Guys, Just wanted to know your opinion on Seat Arona. I am looking for a compact SUV under 12k budget. I like the VW Tcross, but good examples are above my budget. So I was thinking to go with its sibling Arona. Do you guys have any other suggestions that I should consider.
