When should I change the cambelt on my car?
My 2016 Ford C-MAX 1.5 TDCi has now done 52300 miles, do you recommend a cam belt and water pump change?

The cambelt should be changed at 150,000 miles or 10 years which ever comes first. If and when you do change it we would also replace the water pump.

I recently replaced the cambelt on my 2013 Ford Focus. Unfortunately, 5 days later the new cambelt failed, a tensioner bolt snapped. I lost the cost of a nights accommodation booked for the night of failure...

If the cam belt breaks while I am driving away from the garage am I covered by the warranty?
