2.0 D3 150hp Momentum Pro FWD 5dr

Good but not great

Bough the car with 2,800 miles on it. Now have 45,000. This car has some very good qualities, and some less good ones. The 2.0Diesel 150bhp front wheel drive is perfectly adequate and economical. 45mpg on short trips and 55mpg on the motorway driven sensibly. Have even had 60mpg on a couple of occasions, that's fill to fill, not trip computer although the computer is fairly accurate. Mine came with a collection of goodies including heated front screen, electric drivers seat and reversing camera. The good and bad:

The Good:
- It's quiet, comfortable and easy to drive
- It's economical for a big car
- The heated front screen is excellent in winter
- The boot is big and has a flat floor
- The dealer has been excellent to date
- The big satnav display is good
- Apple car play and a decent sound system
- Plenty of oddments space
- Heated steering wheel (luxury on cold days)

The bad:
- the touch screen system means taking your eyes off the road too often
- A few electrical niggles including the climate control turning itself off on two very hot days. No fault found by the dealers.
- The road sign warning occasionally doesn't work. Turn off and on again and it's fine.
- The whole infotainment system occasionally throws a fit and takes 5 minutes or so to reset itself. This hasn't happened since the last software update.
- 19" tyres are expensive! Pirellis wear better than the standard fit Continentals
- There is no courtesy light in the back seats!
- The back seat cushions are too short and not particularly comfortable for taller people
- There is no dipstick, you have to swipe and poke to see oil level and Adblue level

Overall it's not let me down, but a few disappointing niggles. One point is that if you use the automatic brake hold function you it will go through rear discs and pads very quickly which will cost £££. Only use the auto brake for hill starts. Overall it's been better than my previous Mercedes and the dealers are miles better.
