Fantastic

Broke our heart to part with this car but 133,000 miles and 13 years later we felt the time was right to swap to one of the very last of it's type. A very low mileage shining 2007 specimen at top price from a Subaru dealer. We wish we had kept the older one. Turned out the younger one had a stuffed transmission. Someone had put " gunk' in the differential to quieten it. The dealer did not want to know. We hung onto it for two years and spent thousands trying to get it fixed as we really wanted to keep it. Still had problems so bought an XV. Not a patch on the old foresters. So sluggish, cheaply built and we have come to the conclusion Subaru are no longer the force they were.Just wish Subaru hadn't changed the Forester so dramatically to a big hulk.
