1.6 CRDi Ceed 3 5dr Hatchback

Totally disappointing economy, warranty and overall ownership experience.

Bought a 12 month old top of the range Kia approved used 1.6 diesel 113bhp Ceed 3 with high hopes of cheap trouble free motoring. Lost count how many times it went back to the dealer for various issues: poor economy of mid forties, broken driver`s seat, loose trim, electrical issues and worst of all terrible droning and uneven wear on both back tyres. Spent £750 in two years on tyres. Kia`s response to the excessive tyre wear and noise was exceptionally poor - they acknowledged there was an issue but wouldn`t do anything about it. The ride was shockingly bad. Did 25000 boring miles in the thing before I could take no more and decided to sell it.Took an expensive hit in my wallet selling it back to a Kia dealer as I couldn't sell it privately despite my best efforts. The older Focus I owned at the same time with three times the mileage was superior in every way by a country mile. Steer clear.
