I have an intermittent brake issue. My Agila has recently visited two local garages who both say the brakes are fine - but they aren't. Most of the time, the brakes respond as they should but, every couple of weeks, I have to press the pedal right to the floor if I'm braking as the car goes over a bump/grate/pothole. The foot brake loses its 'thread' and presses right to the floor (I'm not sure how I actually stop...). As I proceed over even ground without braking, the pedal eventually regains its thread (I don't know what else to call the engagement/resistance response of a normal brake pedal). What can I do as it doesn't seem possible for garages to identify the issue? Read more
I HAD A PROBLEM LIKE THAT YEARS BACK. IT WAS SOMETING TO DO WITH MASTER CYLINDER SEAL
Hi All. My first post here and need some help and your opinion.
I was driving today by crossing with red light camera, just when lights turned amber I passed the stop line but stopped the vehicle after it and didn't pass the junction. Is it possible that I will get a fine? I panicked to get through the crossing and stopped the car. Do I have to get through the whole junction to trigger the camera? Please let me know what you think. ... Read more
In any case, you would only get a fine.
And three penalty points. As Bromptonaut says, a course is usually offered provided the "time into red" is not excessive and the driver has not done course in the previous three years.
Hi. Im fairly certain I have double locking on the above. How can I over ride it if my keyfob is damaged or the battery is dying in the keyfob? Can I just check what the giveaway signs are that Ive definitely got double locking in terms of the labels that Toyota refer to as being on the front side windows. Many thanks for any help or advice given. Read more
guessing as I have never had a Yaris but generally if a Toyota has a keyless system it will also have a physical key blade hidden in the fob for use if the battery dies.

Hello, I've had a problem with a blown out coolant hose and now that I've replaced it the radiator fan doesn't turn on. Yesterday the radiator fan turned on as soon as I turned the car on. The coolant temp today was at 108 highest and no fan turned on. Read more
It turns out the fan does kick in until 105-110 Celsius. It works fine It just wasn't hot enough
Thanks.
