I have been asked by a relative for advice regarding a 17 seater minibus. It's needed for a school, but the waiting list for new ones is rather long. Anybody know of reputable dealers who could supply a used one? They are based in Surrey. Thanks. Read more
I moved house a few years back and totally oblivious forgot to change my address in a different city on the V5.
The car is taxed and insured.
I had an accident and the car is written off.
The car is insured at the correct address.
Will the wrong address on the v5 void the insurance or the write off payment?
Thanks
Ps the new people in the old house still forward post so no fines have gone to the wrong address. Read more
Time to argue IMHO. Insurers are meant to return you to your situation before the write-off, which normally means the cost of buying an 'identical' vehicle (give or take). You may have the option of keeping the car and having it repaired, but their payout will be less. £3K looks to me too little for either option.
Hi all, hope your doing well.

Looks like it . I think the Op got confused. Just like the system . Couldn’t identify both keys . What was wrong with an old fashioned blade key ? Nothing.

Hi, my Citroën AX I have fit a tachometer because I am deaf, my tachometer it looks inaccuracy it needs adjustment, my multimeter put the four cylinders on and connect to the W+ on my alternator, one on the chassis, my multimeter shows idle is 624rpm but my Hayne said 895rpm, and it won't show over 1,999 rpm it comes out like this ---- It makes me wonder the multimeter is not accuracy.
If I buy a laser tachometer to point to the cam belt, would this work accuracy rpm? ... Read more

When it comes to resale would the extra toys on option 2 counter the extra mileage, say in 3 years time?
Bear in mind that cars, including (and especially) second hand cars are much more expensive than the norm, mainly due to the supply chain and logitstical issues surrounding new cars. Some reports have remarked that second hand prices are 25-33% higher than the historical norm.
Other recent reports have most Western economies either teetering on the cusp or already in a recession, which is likely to get significantly worse over the next year or so....

I simply can’t understand why Toyota can’t make a smooth running Diesel engine.
A customer of mine has a Land Cruiser with a 4.2 straight six turbo diesel, it's plenty smooth!

Not 100% understanding. When you say the brake light comes on constantly but also doesn't work, what do you mean? Do you mean the two that do work are stuck on and the one that doesn't work still isn't coming on?
Either way, yes, it sounds like you made a mistake putting the new switch in if has fixed nothing but created a new problem....
Thank you. We will check them out.
