No: you have apologised before and then come back again with the same unacceptable language.

Right this is getting out of hand, another lockdown which mean's again I won't be able to start lessons and the b***** waiting list gets longer. Its starting to get to the point where we have to let this virus rip, if it kills someone old then so be it, my future is being destroyed by and old person I will never meet

Lessons should be essential Read more

Sam, we've been here before, twice.

There is nothing you can do to learn to drive at the moment, so there's no point in asking us on here....

Hi all, so i've been working from home for a few months now so not using the car as much, just the odd trip to the shop and back, nothing more than 15-20 minutes. I then went to start it over the weekend after a couple of days in the freezing cold and although it started first time, it chugged a little bit and took a good few seconds to finally start.

I checked voltage of the battery the next morning after sitting all day and it was 11.8 at the time and then when starting the car the cranking voltage dropped to around 9 then back up to over 14.... Read more

It'll be a combination of reduced usage and the cold weather - get yourself a decent smart charger, eg CTEK MXS 3.8 or CTEK MXS 5.0 and charge it for 24 hours once a month - cheaper than a new battery and will last much longer.

If you want an expensive Chinese charger the Noco Genius 5 looks not bad, and explicitly addresses the dead battery issue with "Force Mode" which will charge a battery with no voltage.(I've been calling that "dumb mode" which I suppose might not sell so well)...

I support the idea of online learning for a long period because it seems to me that pupils and students are still not in safety. I see online learning as more secure for children's health. My younger brother uses the phdessay review service and the moodle platform, which assure him the protection against the Covid-19. This great site is an ideal alternative during this heavy period. The essay examples provided offer pupils much information to maintain a development corresponding to the old physical presence. It is even simpler to study on phdessay than listening to a teacher in a traditional classroom.

We’ve had one in the family - the oil pump drive chain broke, lunching the motor. I’ve no information as to whether that’s a regular occurrence or not, but it happened on this one.

John Cadugon will tell you all you need to know aboit Ford Ranger 3.2 oil pumps.

Hi guys.
Newbie here and have a question about a 2.0 Pinto engine.
I was given the engine as part of a package to build a JBA Falcon, which is a kit car version of a Jaguar SS100. Donor car was a Ford Cortina.
The engine had been stood in a garden on a pallet and under a tarpaulin for about 20 year. Tarp was in bits and the engine doesn’t turn over. It’d need a rebuild because of that, but question I’m looking for an answer/view on, is the probability of the block being cracked (water/ice over the 20 years) and the engine not being serviceable.
Thanks, Terry. Read more

And I think it’s worth checking out the bolt pattern for the Pinto bellhousing and the later motors. There is some degree in interchangeability, if I remember correctly, so a newer engine may hook up to the gearbox you have.

The Pinto shared the bolt pattern with the pre-crossflow, the crossflow (plus twin cam and BD derivatives) the CVH, the twin can Sierra/Granada motor (also used in the Galaxy 2.3 petrol) and the Mondeo/Focus Zetec - the iron blocked one (not the alloy blocked Yamaha Zetec - now known as the Sigma).

But the matter is complicated by the number of gearboxes used on the Cortina and this was to a certain extent dependent on the engine size....

I had a plumber visited my property and he said 222-f are very complex and expensive to fix if they go wrong and he doesn’t think they would last a long time, maybe 10 years.

He suggested Vitoden 200-w with ACV cylinder and he said he can be sure that this system will last a lot longer as there are a lot less electronics and less things that can go wrong and will take the same amount of space.... Read more
