while a skoda has an ok interior its nothing compared to a merc or jag xe.
Further in class of car your really whant rear wheel drive or at least 4 wheel drive hence IMHO VW and clones have limited class options....

I could never prove it was due to a non MO tyre, but I had the tyre tested for punctures, I had it removed and reseated and a new valve fitted. It still lost pressure. When It needed replacing I had an MO tyre fitted and no further problems.

It's not only Vauxhall's in Bedfordshire.
A couple of years ago my boss came out of his house one morning to find almost the whole of the front end of his wife's Ford Fiesta had been removed during the night! The car, of which I saw a photo, looked like something that was in a breakers yard. This happened in Hornchurch, Essex, though, of course, Ford cars haven't been build in the county for many years, now. But, like with Vauxhalls in Bedfordshire, there's probably still a high ownership percentage of Ford cars in the Essex area....
The loan car from the garage (mine's in for a modification, not a repair) is loaned on the understanding that third party damage/costs are covered by the "driving other cars" cover on my car's insurance.
However its on a "cherished car" policy (Highway, through Carole Nash) and such cover isn't included unless it goes with an approved repair at an approved garage. ... Read more
