Good Morning
I have a peugeot diesel 1.9 lx d (not hdi) I have had air in the fuel system and when I try to prime to remove the air it looks like the primer bulb is leaking or near it, I assume I need to remove the bulb but are unsure how to do this.
Is there any certain way??
Thank you all for your replies it is really appreciated.

Hi
Regretibly got behind the wheel after a few beers. Got pulled up and will be going to court in Jan 2010. Got 66 and 69 on the breathaliser
In my first 2 years of driving i picked up too many points (never been a boy racer but got unlucky with the camera guns, flashed in an area i didnt know etc). My license was suspended - Didnt say i was banned but i guess i was as i wasnt allowed to drive but i rememeber suspended being the term they used. I had to retake my driving test
i think this was about 8 or so years ago. Would this count as a second offence as its within 10 years? = 3 year minimum ban? I really hope not
Thanks for your help Read more
your original suspension/totting up was for speeding and as it was 8 years ago it does not count - Its as if you had a clean license
For your current first DD offence at a readinbg 66 you can expect 18month ban and a fat fine.
Hi I brought a 99 t reg fiesta ghia, but the remote did not work, I have replaced the batteries and now when I press the button the red light comes on but this does not operate the central locking. I have read loads abour re programing it but I have had no luck, these are the instructions ive read
1. Turn Ignition switch to Position I and back to 0 as soon as the PATS LED in the clock lights (The system is now ready for programming, to a maximum time limit of 30 seconds)
2. Remove Key from Ignition, hold the FOB towards the Interior Light, and press and hold the Single Arrow. Wait until the light on the Key flashes, then press the Double Arrow 3 times., release the Single Button
3. Both LEDs (Key & Clock) should flash to acknowledge programming is successful
4. To exit learn Mode, turn Ignition to II and then 0
The pats led in the clock just keeps flashing, when i go through the above steps the light on the ley flashed 5 times but the led next to the clock doesnt so they are not in sync
Any ideas please people!

I realise this is an old post with an old problem, however, have you had the keys tested for output signal ? Does the locking work if you put the key in the door lock barrel? There’s no security reset procedure.

Since the cold weather started my car heating /AC adoes not seem to be as powerful as it was.Today heating on full blast and its like a trickle then after about 5 mins of driving i heard a small pop and then the heating came on full blast as it normally would and then had a very acrid smell coming through the vents for about 30 seconds then all OK and the heating was as expected is this the thermostat that's sticking .Because i thought the car was on fire at first.
Is this a simple fix or a garage job

I am interested in the services this company provides. But I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts about the procedure they use. When I asked someone else about it, they said I should be asking lots of questions - like, how do they power wash and thoroughly dry the car in such a short time.
It would be great, if by chance, someone here has actually used this company. Any thoughts appreciated! Read more
Nothing wrong with waxoyl but dinitrol do have a larger range of products for different areas of the car.
On the slightly rust prone Ka I guess £195 is a decent price if it includes the cavities. I'd still ask how they clean/dry at this time of year.
Are they galvanizing the sump yet? or does it allegedly still rust through?
its in law that ford sumps rust oilrag
Interesting thread about what BRs carry in the car, but is there any bit of kit which you have made or adapted for a special purpose and which, perhaps, would be a mystery to anybody finding it
I have one here...

It could do with a repaint after ten years or so of use. The other end of the tube is open and it's about 6 inches long
Any ideas ?

i made this about 12 years ago out of some scrap
look at the now dated stripe on it,when was the last time you fitted one?,my paint man needed one for a car the other month and couldnt find anywhere that stocked them anymore (i threw all mine out earlier this year)

These primer bulbs are liable to failure although I have never changed one. If you think its faulty, obtain a replacement and you will see where and how it is connected.
