Why is my Kia Sportage diesel automatic not starting?

I've got a 2008 Kia Sportage that ran out of diesel. I've changed the diesel filter and bled the fuel. Primed the pump but it's still not starting. It's turning over for a bit but the turn over dies down after each turn. Any ideas?

Airlock in the fuel line. You haven't bled it all out.
