Buying a used Hyundai i10 - which model is safest?

Is there any difference in safety spec for the pre-2014 model and the 2014+?

I would like to know the best model to go choose for use on mostly short distances with the best safety please.

The original model i10 achieved a four star NCAP rating and the current (2014) model also achieved a four star rating: www.euroncap.com/en/results/hyundai/i10/7868/ But the 2014 model is an altogether better looking, better finished, better car than the original.
