New Renault Megane

I'm currently driving a 2011 Hyundai i20 which I have owned for 3 years, I am looking for a change to something a little bigger. There are only two of us but we need more space for the dog and holidays. I commute 50 miles per day and cover around 15,000 to 16,000 miles per year so am thinking diesel is the way to go. Some UK dealers are offering (via Drive the Deal & Carwow) discounts of up to 35% for a new Renault Megane. Is this the fabulous deal I think it is? Is there a new Megane in the pipeline? Is Renault to discontinue the Megane?

Megane simply don't sell in the UK and the current one dates back to 2008 so it could be due to be replaced or maybe even dropped altogether. But if you can get one with the 1.6 dCi 130 then that is an excellent manifold in head engine (also used in the Mercedes C200CDI), so it's a good car and rides well on 15" or 16" wheels (less so in 17" or 18").
