A gentleman and a Skoda

I just found your VW ABS report online. Having been to the local Skoda Dealership with my 3 year old Octavia, which has been serviced at that dealership since purchased in 2007, and has just run out of the 3 year warranty, I have found that the ABS braking system has now failed.

They have offered to replace it at a cost of £367. Surely if VW, are replacing all modules for nothing and own the Skoda group, surely the offer should be across the board, as the same parts are used in all the vehicles affected? Skoda, SEAT, and Audi included

VW is not replacing all modules for nothing. If the Skoda dealer have offered to do this for £367 then that is the best you can do, because the fix by ECU Testing is £350 + removal and re-fitting. How much VW contributes depends on the age and mileage of the car and its service history.
