• Ford focus 1.6 2006 - Radio serial number 1 Aug 2018 (Forum)
  Good day   I have a 1.6 Ford focus mk 2. The battery was removed and I don't have the radio code nor the radio removal pins.   I read a few comments suggesting I try holding down 1 and 6 (this just comes up with a zero, as though I'm entering a digit) I also tried 1 and 5 as well as 2 and 5, but with 5 being the code confirmation key it accepts the attempts as code inputs.

  After I had a new Aircon compressor fitted, my Head unit (Ford original) started turning its self off by its self, which kills the Aircon, I also get the Square box on the radio display telling me it will turn off in 60 minutes While the engine is running, only use to get this when the radio was turned on when parked and engine not running.

  my friend has an 05 plate Ford Focus and she purchased a reversing sensor that fastens under the number plate, anyway we tried to get it up and running, everything was working fine (reversing light coming on) until we connected it all together, now she has no reverse light at all, we thought it may be the reversing switch which we changed and that was not the issue, anyway her MOT is due in September and we are needing to get this sorted.

  Hi, after reading some other messages in the forum I to have the same problem. I tried following the steps of holding down buttons 1 and 6 to access my radio code for my ford transit 6000CD player. Upon my findings here are the numbers that I found, FB050208, SWP14C044, BL020405, FDV2007, VO25557 and SWP1-6CIT. Please can someone help me access the code for my stereo as I am at my wits end driving in silence lol !

  Hi all - I am in need of a code for my transit radio - ford wanted to charge £18 which I think a bit excessive. My serial no is m253633 and part no: ys6f-18k876-da. can anyone please help? also I am currently locked out of this thing (my jedi guessing skills were weak) but i have heard that there is a number sequence that you can press to give you one last go.

  Well i take my hat off to those who answer the seemingly endless requests for a radio code for their Ford Ka etc ! Dosen't anyone have it printed in the car manual or on a card in the booklet folder or in the radio manual ? Don't car buyers check the documentation for the code before buying ?

   I recently put the battery the wrong way on a ford focus tdci 2006 .. 2l .when I noticed my alternator was not working anymore so I replaced the altonator its now charging but still the charging light is still on I've tested if its charging and it is 2ndly it no has an engine check light and my power steering is no longer working.I checked it on the computer it says lost communication with the power steering module and also its saying lost communication with glow plug circuit but its starting and no glow plug light is on

  3 months ago I exchanged my 11 year old high mileage Rover 75 for a 54 plate Ford Focus, which seems to be a good all-rounder with the exception of its very hard ride and the thought of a 300 mile trip down the motorway is very off-putting. Despite the loss I would be facing,, I am thinking of changing again for a comfier car.

  Can someone please help me? My Ford Focus won't start at all. It's just making a clicking sound which seems to be coming from the left of the engine (as I'm sitting in the car). It's been doing the clicking noise intermittently for a few weeks but has always started.

  Hi the timing belt snapped on a ford fiesta and the garage said there is a piston down?  i have taken the car to my house and put a new belt on (belt kit) and it will just about run but its lumpy as hell, i didn't want to take the head off if the valves are okay i also put new spark plungs in all 4. there is fual getting there. i do think the valves are bent the car also will not idle on its own thanks

  i trying to decide which cars is best i have ford fiesta 1.0 80 bps  not as good on fuel as it says so im going to trade it in. iv been looking at new cars  fiesta 1.5 or 1.6 diesel  but price keeps going up and the insurance  groups go up on eco diesel  up group 12 on 1.6 tdci kia 1.1 which not so priced so high and group 4  but undecided    ant ideas on small family eco

  Dear Honest John,   I am to take delivery soon of a newly registered motorhome based on a Ford 2.2 Diesel engine and chassis. It is an old model and is between 1 and 2 years old although only done delivery miles. What would you recommend the servicing to be. Firstly, would you have the engine oil changed before delivery and secondly, based on using the motorhome for  around 6000 miles per year.

  Does anyone know if there is a seal in there or would it be a new steering rack. I have tried talking to ford garage yet all they say is bring it in and we will look. Hopefully some one can help with this. The car is getting on yet flies through most mots so would love to keep it on the road. Many thanks.

  Hey I have a T reg Ford Fiesta and recently it has got stuck in reverse and first a couple of times, to get it out of gear you have to turn the engine off take it out of gear and then restart the car. It seems to be fine after that, it has only happened a couple of times and i'm not sure why.

  Good evening, I have discovered that the radio code given in the audio manual for my 2003 Ford Fiesta is incorrect!  Very frustrating to say the least. Is there anyone on here that could assist me please with a code?  The audio unit is a 4500 RDS with the serial number M271067.
• Ford Focus Mk3 - Leaking windscreen 2 Jul 2014 (Forum)
  Just bought a 1 year old Mk3 focus that I've found has a leak from the top of the windscreen 4 inches to the left of the rear view mirror. Returned it to the main Ford agent where I bought the car from who can't find the leak. It's going in next week for 2 days for a "full water test" although I've got a feeling that they either won't or won't admit to finding anything.

  My 43k miles focus vibrates on tickover the whole car vibrates. The local ford dealer had the car in their garage for 2 days and charged me £200 for diagnostic tests and upgrades but the car was the same upon return to me. After I complained they said there was nothing wrong but luckily for me the garage foreman agreed with me that it was vibrating so I received a full refund but the car is still vibrating and its now had a full service at 42k miles.
