    It bested the previous record by more than a minute.   The 875PS, 875kg all-wheel drive monster has more power than an F1 car. It’ll be joined by Peugeot rally stars from years gone by, including the 205 T16 and the 405 T15 Pikes Peak. Also climbing up the hill will be the Onyx concept car and the upcoming RCZ-R – a more powerful, sportier version of the RCZ coupe.

    The i8 will use a three-cylinder twin-turbo petrol engine that's combined with an electric drive system to produce  349hp/300Nm.  Its 0-62mph time is said to be under five seconds, combined with the fuel consumption of under approximately 78mpg. Tyre Dealer Reviews  is a website where drivers share their experience of areas like service and price, as well as provide a rating out of five stars, to help fellow car owners make an informed decision when looking for a tyre fitting service.

    EVs can only usually travel around 100 miles before they run out of juice, and charging them is a long-winded process when you find a place to do it. But as with all technology, there’s a constant drive for improvement and a consortium led by advanced battery manufacturer Axeon has developed a new type of battery that goes some way towards removing the limitations associated with pure EVs. The project, part funded by the Technology Strategy Board, aimed to develop a high density battery specifically for zero-emissions vehicles.

    The A1 Clubsport quattro is powered by a modified Audi RS3 engine and features the six-speed manual gearbox and four wheel drive system from the Audi TT RS. The firm has joined forces with BSM to provide the driving school with 14,000 examples of its 500 auto. It revealed the company expects this deal to work in its favour by encouraging more youngsters to opt for Fiat cars. The manufacturer pointed out 70 per cent of first-time buyers purchase the same type of vehicle they took their lessons in and some 130,000 people use BSM every year.
