  Our new 2004 CRV is great except for the lack of seat height adjustment on the passenger side. Is it possible to fit the drivers side seat base from a left hand drive version ?

  So I'm thinking I might as well stick with current seat and just try to extend the seat belt. Anyone done this & know a supplier? The car does have the much vaunted Isofix fixtures but not fittings, so I'd need to make a trip to dealers to get them fitted, then find an appropriate seat (not all f them fit anyway).

  Hi, I posted this in technical and got no response. Surely someone can recommend a seat repairer? I am a big guy and lately the lower seat cushion in the drivers side is saggy (8 years of sitting) and not giving as much support as it used to. Is this something the dealer could fix or do I have to find a seat specialist.

  Hi Folks I own a 2008 model Mark 4 Seat Ibiza and the air filter needs changing.  I have no idea of how to do it and there is no mention of it in the manual.  I have also looked on Youtube but no success. Can someone kindly advice?

  I bought a brand new Seat Ibiza in January this year and have covered 8000 miles. There are a few small stone chips on the bonnet and a bigger one on the front drivers side door. Is this make and model of car prone to stone chips in general or is there a quality issue with the paint?

  I want to change from an Renault Espace 8 seater to a smaller vehicle of quality build with 3 individual seats in the back i.e. not a bench or hard seat in the centre. Looking to spend upto £20000 on a 12 month old vehicle (to avoid massive depreciation in the first year). Looked at Ford S max but seats hard.

  Modern cars now have safety airbags mounted in the steering wheel. Some models have it on the passenger side and also in the side of the front seats. For this post i want to know if it dangerous to use seat covers on seats with side airbags fitted in seats. Watching a program on one of the discovery channels where they buy a write off cars, repair it and then sell it.

  What superminis other than the Yaris and Twingo have sliding rear seats? Looked at a Yaris today and the loadspace is very good with the rear seats adjusted, its as big as the next car size up by the look of it.

  I have 97 fiesta three door. The drivers seat does not lock in place. Everything looks OK but handle on side top for access to rear seat seems loose. Any ideas on how to fix?

  Driving 50,000 miles a year I need good seats, currently Saab they are excellent, what other seats are good out there as I will need to change shortly and Saabs seem to be artificially holding prices of thier cars up.

  Hello every one Im in the market for a new car and have a couple of offers thats made my choice a little more difficult Im looking at the Seat Arona Se Tech or the VW Polo life (both with the 1litre 95hps engine) In terms of price there not much between them (around 600£) Im coming from a VW Polo beats (2018) and have concerns with Seat dash quality.

  when moving my seat to correct position before driving something is not right as the seat can move about an inch forward when braking and then move back an inch when accelerating away. been to ford and there quoting £450 for a new seat bracket as it is all one unit.

  I drive a 2003 Citroen C5. The foam in the seat base has split right through from the front to the back, about 2" from the edge of the seat. This has happened on both front seats. Has anyone else experienced this and if so is there a cheap fix. I know im 15 stone so that could well be part of the probelem, but my wife weighs less than 9 stone and shes managed to split the passenger seat too, so im assuming its a design fault.

  Initially SEAT offered £150 off the bill, but after we rejected this SEAT reconsidered and agreed to meet the full bill. The work has now been completed and we are very happy with Castlegate SEAT and SEAT UK for the straightforward way they dealt with our problem.

  Is it possible to add the parts to the floor to put the second row of seats in a Vito van? I would then source a set of seats, bench or split to complete the job. Or is this a non starter? Thanks in advance.

  What I’m wondering is would it be possible to take out the seat and have it replaced with a seat that doesn’t hurt me? Could I fir any sort of seat or would it have to be a certain type for my sort of car? Thanks for any help you can give me.

  I'm obviously reluctant to change the car! Car in question is Vx Omega (leather seats - if that helps) its done 60k and is a 2003 so seat "should" be ok (the passenger seat aches me as well!) Trouble is, I've had an omega before and that was fine (cloth seats) as was my previous rover 600 that I had for 3 years.

  Could anybody please tell me if a Seat Leon extended warranty would typically cover problems with a clutch master cylinder ? Nb Not sure if that is the problem - clutch pedal has not returned twice today but then works fine. Bit disappointed after 40,000 miles of very careful driving.
