v70 intergrated child seat - A2B
Does anyone know if you can replace your standard arm rest on the rear seat of V70 with the intergrated child seat?

Either from a another V70 ( which had it as an option) or as buying the accesory?

I think the answer will depend on how much work/money you wanted to put into it. In theory, you can swap any part from your car for another part from a higher or different model. In practice, you can run into all kinds of niggly problems with dependencies on other parts, or worse yet, it could conflict with existing features of your car that you want to keep.

Anyway, for this kind of modification the first thing that comes to my mind is that you may or may not have the appropriate mounting points, it's impossible to say until you try.

Have a look round some of the Volvo owner's clubs forums - someone may have tried this same upgrade there.

Might it be easier just to sell your car and buy another with the features you want?

I think its possible ,or you could swap the seat back
there is one for sale on ebay in the states that someone removed so it probably bolts in place of the standard arm rest
ask the dealer about part no 9124813
