Jaguar XF - Used car, radio malfunction. What are my "rights"? 14 Dec 2016 (Forum)
I can't remember the exact part he said it needed, but it's some sort of main part which costs over £500 before labour. He reiterated his previous statement that "it's not something we'd normally cover". So I asked him if he could get a better price from them to fix it than what I'd be able to get if I went to them directly myself. He said he would. I then said to him that in all honesty I wouldn't have bought the car if I'd known about this fault - I'd either have walked away, or asked for it to be rectified. -

Jaguar XK - Jaguar 30 Day exchange policy 22 Jun 2010 (Forum)
The Jaguar web site starts by saying "In the unlikely event that your vehicle has a demonstrable fault that cannot be resolved to your satisfaction and the car has covered no more than 1,000 miles from the date of purchase, your car will be replaced free of charge with a car of a similar specification or a refund will be offered. It was agreed, after speaking to the case manager from the manufacturer and the dealership, that I would accept the car and it would be repaired by my local dealership, and all costs covered by the dealership that originally sold me the car. -
