  More then 1700 classic cars will be on show at this year's Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show - held at the Birmingham NEC over the weekend of 14-16 November. Around 250 of Britain’s best motoring clubs will celebrate ‘The Big Screen’ displaying classic marques from TV and film while headline sponsor Lancaster Insurance has a trio of iconic screen cars - the ECTO-1 from Ghostbusters, K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider and the time-travelling DeLorean from the 1984 classic Back to the Future.

  .  According to BMW the battery cable in the boot could be mounted incorrectly, resulting in malfunctions, problems with starting the car, or in extreme cases some scorching or, possibly, a fire. There’s no reason to panic, though, because BMW says that only 1% of cars checked so far have shown the fault. If you own the previous generation BMW 5 Series, built from 2003 to 2012, or the previous generation 6 Series, built from 2004 to 2011, then your car may be affected.
