Trip to Suzuki dealership 'could benefit the environment'

Wed, 12 Aug 2009
Suzuki drivers looking for car advice that could help them improve their green credentials may want to drop in at their local dealership.

The manufacturer has revealed its new Green Light Campaign involves trained technicians checking customers' autos to ensure they are as fuel efficient as possible.

For £15.99, motorists can get brakes and tyres seen to and adjusted so that their vehicle's CO2 emissions are minimised.

As well as protecting the planet, the scheme could help driver's boost their bank balance - as a more fuel-efficient car can cover more distance between trips to the pump.

Commenting on the promotion, the firm stated it is "keen to help customers make each penny go the extra mile".

In other motoring news, Suzuki recently revealed the Alto has been the most popular vehicle from its range with scrappage scheme participants.

At the end of July, the manufacturer revealed it had taken a total of more than 4,900 orders under the programme.
